The neighbourhood also offers unique antique stores, a kooky vibrant café culture and some of Brighton’s best pubs to discover your favourite local ale. Kemptown is also popular for its LGBT pubs and bars, of which there are a great range to choose from. A unique feature of Kemptown is ‘Kemptown Village’, turning a corner from vibrant St James’ St you will take a trip back in time and enter into a peaceful village, expect to find organic grocery stores, florists, a top quality bakery, a pizzeria and beautiful St George’s Church. Kemptown beach is more peaceful than the main tourist beach in central Brighton, so is a great place to relax in the sun whilst still within walking distance to Brighton town centre and Brighton Marina.
