At the time of check-out, I was waiting for about 20 minutes at the front desk. If one person takes time to respond, you should ask another person to respond. It was my first time in Australia, but I was disappointed by the lack of hospitality when I thought this was the norm.
I was disappointed in the room quality. I was what I would find at a comfort inn at IHG prices. The room smelled of mold and funk and it took over an hour while they tried to "clean" it. But that's not going to clean and we all know that. New room was better but still stunk. All the while the desk personnel were smiling and telling me all was ok. "just sit over there (and be ignored). I felt like it was in a B movie where the robot people are exceedingly nice when planning your demise. It wasn't ok. I think i just outlasted them and they wanted to get rid of me so I finally got the "cleaner" room. I opened the door to air the place out and just endured the mid day heat. There are much better places to stay. Food was pricey and insultingly average. I couldn't be convinced to stay here again. Lots of Bentleys and Ferraris. lot's of sizzle, no steak. If i was an executive at IHG I would want to see this review.

Felt like a tropical getaway. Food option which included buffet breakfast at The Cove and dinner at The Fireplace restaurant was was excellent and good value.
