Disappointed
Overall I was disappointed in my stay. We rented a 2 bedroom oceanview villa. First, we arrived 15 minutes early. Check in 3pm we arrived at 245pm, and heard excuses 10x about us being early. Ive been to hotels way earlier and never heard a complaint (even if room wasn't ready). They kept that same attitude throughout the stay. It was as if we were not welcome. Anytime we needed anything it was a sigh and poor effort to complete the ask.
We had a private butler for the villa who was better than any of the other employees. He helped us a good bit.
Outside of him the service was 1/10.
Food was Very disappointing. It was Average all inclusive food at a fine dining price. They convinced us to go to the big bbq buffet on the beach which was $115 / person for pizza and chicken bones + drinks additional of course. IF food was great then not a problem. Room service was repetitive and below average. We were tired of food and left after 3 days.
Beach is beautiful but very rocky. Not what many expect in Caribbean. But still no complaints here. Pool is nice too. Food at beach is ok, but same menu as dinner basically so very repetitive.
The room itself was nice, although spent first night in wrong room. We booked 2 bedroom Villa (2 king beds) we arrived to twin beds. Ended up upgrading us for final 2 nights to a very nice 3 bedroom villa. But for price of 2k / night even upgrade was overpriced.
Overall would say experience felt like any regular all inclusive in Cancun
