Jesse was extremely rude and very unprofessional. Very angry and impolite. Acted as if it was his hotel. Would never return or recommend

We loved our stay! Everyone on the staff was super friendly including Jonathan at the front desk. My daughter and I felt extremely safe and well cared for. The facility was extra clean and our room as well. In times of a pandemic or not this place was Our favorite of the year if not the last few.

Very friendly staff and welcoming, and a great place for solo travelers with their doggo companions.

Stay was great but the bathroom wasn’t clean hair from another guest was all over the shower toilet had pee stains but food was great.

Stayed at The Academy Hotel for a family visit during COVID. The hotel is nice, but quite dated. It looks like it was probably amazing in the 80s! We found the beds uncomfortable - they seemed to be memory foam that had been slept on by too many people. No uncomfortable springs, but unless you were directly in the middle you risked rolling off. Otherwise, the room had plenty of space for two adults, two tweens, and a 2 year old in her pack n play. The breakfast was great! Our first morning it was grab and go, and the second morning they were able to seat us in the restaurant area. The attendants were cheerful and went above and beyond to help a kiddo with celiac. The pool was great, and we really appreciated the reservation system - it was nice to be able to enjoy the pool without worrying about it getting crowded and risking infection. It was also nice to be able to get the kids out easily because our reservation was up and the next family was waiting =) The only real annoyance was the entry/ exit system. It was icy in the parking lot, and the parking spaces are some distance from the front doors. Restricting all guests to only using the front doors to come and go meant that we were needing to walk around the building on the ice with a toddler, often ending up too close to other guests, when it would have been preferable to enter and exit the side door right into the parking area and by the elevator.

am in love with this hotel it is the second time I stayed here, it is my favorite hotel in Colorado Springs.

The hotel staff was terrible. They were rude and very unhelpful. Many amenities listed are not available. They even charge you for plastic silverware.

We stayed one night in this hotel for my daughter’s 12th birthday. We had adjoining rooms. I will say that the service was great. The staff was helpful and kind. My complaints and concerns are over the overall maintenance and cleanliness of the rooms. The first thing I do when traveling is inspect the room for bed bugs because I am absolutely paranoid about bringing an infestation home! There were no bed bugs, but there were spots on the mattresses and the comforter on one of the beds was still dirty and needed replacement. The TV wasn’t working properly either. In the middle of the night our heating unit started clunking and it was so loud we could barely sleep. Then, in the morning the coffee maker was broken and didn’t work at all. I definitely expected much better amenities and overall maintenance/cleanliness of a hotel with a rating of over 8. Overall, the kids had a blast because of the pool but I don’t think we would stay again.
