Very good breakfast, available from early morning, with being served individually. There are also a few tables to sit out in the green space where one enters the hotel with a 24 hrs reception. Water in glass bottles in a fridge is free for everyone. All the staff is very friendly and very helpful. My room was small, though big enough to stay for more than one week, very clean and cozy with big windows to open! The ambiente in the hotel is intriguing, always a new poster or print to find. An elevator is present if needed. The hotel is not new. It is next to a busy street, though the windows to the street are keeping the sound away. Some things could be renewed or replaced. The Hotel is in a very good location in Munich, not far away from the City, with subway, and not far from the beautiful Nymphenburger park. There are also many restaurants, as there are some shops, very close by. I am very happy to come back to this Hotel in the near future. Angelika

I have stayed at the hotel during covid 19. There is a breakfast buffet but no self-service. One person from the hotel is wearing a masks and gloves and puts your choices of food together and brings them to your table. There is an option to have breakfast outside weather permitting. Overall I felt safe at the hotel as they seem to follow the regulations. I booked the standard room with street view, it was fairly quiet at night. The bathroom had a bathtub but the bathroom is tiny only one adult can fit in it. The room itself is a bit outdated there are marks from furniture and/or suitcases on the walls, as well as on the furniture itself, There the room has not any of the following aircon, tea coffee making facilities, safe or fridge. There is water for every guest per day at reception.

Excellent breakfast with extremely friendly staff. We loved the location.

We had a lovely stay at the Hotel Nymphenburg. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable with a well laid out en suite bathroom that had a shower, as well as a bath. The staff are very friendly and helpful and speak excellent English. What I liked best about the hotel was the fact that there is a fridge full of bottles of mineral water that you can help yourself to free of charge, a bookcase, where travellers have left books they no longer want that you can help yourself to and all the wonderful posters everywhere - the largest collection in Munich. The breakfast is excellent with an incredible choice of delicious foods, many of which are sourced locally from independent producers.

Location and breakfast were excellent

I found Hotel Nymphenburg to be a jewel of a boutique hotel that I will visit again. The location is also great, anything you might need is within an easy walking distance, including a few very nice restaurants.

The breakfast was amazing and the lady working in the breakfast area was wonderful!

Great service and friendly staff

The hotel staff are fantastic and the breakfast was very good with a great selection and available for a long time in the morning. It's an older hotel so the rooms are small and you still use a physical key to lock and unlock the door. You also need to leave your key at the hotel when you leave. The location is good, about a 5 minute walk from the U-Bahn that us very close to the main station for all lines. It was also about a 25 minute walk from Oktoberfest. The only real negative is there is no air conditioning and no fan available. It was the end of September and rainy and the room was still unbearably hot. Otherwise it's a great hotel for the price.

The staff were very friendly and attentive. They offered to be helpful where they saw a need without having to be asked.
