ハイアット セントリック オールド タウン アレクサンドリア (Hyatt Centric Old Town Alexandria)

Carbón monoxide alarm came on in original room at 12am at night. I had to be moved to another room in the middle of the night because they said their wasn’t anyone around who could turn the alarm off. I was very disappointed. My parking was waived but I was not pleased with the downgrade to my room. I also didn’t like that there wasn’t self parking. Anyway no other complaints. Did like that there were coffee shops in walking distance.

The ONLY refreshments this “Hyatt” had was water!!! No little pantry to get a drink or snack. Restaurant closed. NOTHING. Furthermore, the check-in clerk was clueless when I asked where I could go buy something. This was poor...especially for a property with the name Hyatt attached to it.

Fire alarm set off around 1am and stayed om until 7am

Good room, good experience

This is a very nice hotel, everything is clean and very well kept. The only issue we have is the room size. Average hotel room size is 325 sq ft. This room was 220 sq ft. That's really the only negative. It's a great hotel in a wonderful location.

The staff was very friendly. Best of all the hotel and room were very clean. We enjoyed our stay and will be coming back again

Loved this hotel. Attractive, efficient, sparkling clean, and a great location. Only 0.2 mi. walk to the metro. Bus service is even closer. Front desk staff quickly understood and helped with every question. They were there for me with a positive attitude and the right information... They appeared to like and value their work. No one was irritable or just biding time until they could get back to personal pastimes as the staff one encounters in so many businesses of all kinds. Pleasant lobby. Prime Old Town Alexandria, VA location.

Everything about the stay was great except one thing. It’s either haunted, or has some serious electrical issues. The bedside light was a light that you turn a knob to dim or brighten. At one point it would slowly dim up and down, up and down. Until I turned it off. The lights under the bed would flicker. They were motion censored but only one side would continuously come on and off. (Mind you, this is around 2 or 3am) I made sure no blankets or sheets were hanging off causing it. I eventually had to unplug the bed so that no lights came on. After that, I’m laying in bed and hear a crash. The blow dryer fell from the top shelf. I didn’t use or even touch the thing the whole time we were there. Definitely some creepy stuff. But other than that, the staff, the cleanliness, everything else was on point. ;)

Requested non-feather pillow and comforter, and it's the first time we didn't need to bring it up, at a check in desk. Already had it set. Asked for an extra blanket and housekeeping came up in less then 5 minutes.
