Pleasant Suite Stay

Staff were helpful, pleasant and were taking all necessary precautions. Room and grounds were very clean and well maintained as well as depicted accurately in photos. Included breakfast, basketball court and the pool opening were nice additional perks to have during our stay.

Very nice and quiet. The room was clean and kitchen area was well equipped, but i did not like the cigar smell in the hallway (which i do not blame on the hotel, just inconsiderate occupants.) Parking was a little crazy, too many cars. Outdoor pool, but it was a cold day, so never got to enjoy it. I would book here again.

Pet friendly but many, many dogs here. Charged $100 nonrefundable for pet. Minimal breakfast or housekeeping due to Covid. Lots of guests smoked outdoors. On the plus side, there were safe places to walk nesrby with trees and grassy areas.

We were overall very disappointed with our stay. The check-in time is for 3pm, but when we arrived (we arrived early), they said the room was not ready. We did not gain access to our room until almost 4pm, and the front desk staff was not nice about it either (they said well we were sold out last night so we are behind...). When we got in the room, it was sweltering hot and the a/c did not work. We finally got the windows cracked (not easy) and it took almost 5 hours to cool off. We almost found ants throughout the room - crawling on the living room furniture, on the fireplace, in the bedroom, in the bathroom and on the bathroom countertop. It was disgusting. The bathroom also reeked of marijuana and cigarette smoke the whole time we were there - not sure if the people next door were smoking in their room or it was somehow coming from the ventilation. The couch cushions were so flattened that you basically sunk right in to where you felt the springs from the pull-out bed underneath. The rug was stained in multiple places. They did not provide any backup rolls of toilet paper - when we got into the room there was a quarter of a roll left and no additional toilet paper (for a room that had a 6-person capacity). The only nice thing about the room was that the beds were comfortable. Definitely beware. I wish I could get a refund for this stay.

Overall Okay

Our overall experience with this stay was okay. The living room was a bit run down. The sofa was so beat up and uncomfortable that we only sat in there once, so we didn’t get to enjoy the fireplace (that’s the whole reason we upgraded our room). The WiFi was terrible in our room. It was almost like being back in the dial up days lol. Thankfully we have unlimited data on our phones but I wouldn’t recommend staying here for a business trip unless you have unlimited data. The overall cleanliness of the room was on par with other hotels and the shower was spacious with good water pressure! The bed was also pretty comfortable but we did have to ask for more pillows because the ones provided are super squishy and don’t have great support.
