Room lovely but could do with 2 bottles of sparkling and still water, as neither my hubby or I like fizzy water, leaving us to share one bottle. Hair dryers in both rooms and Spa are ineffective so if you have thick hair it takes ages to dry.

We got engaged here on 2008 and us been back again since but not for a few years. Sadly not as good as it once was.. Service was slower - and it all seemed not quite as shiny as we remembered. Ushers fine dining also appears to have gone which is a shame. Dinner was good though and especially enjoyed breakfast. Drinks prices are a bit steep. Room was comfy enough but a bit stuffy and tv in bathroom came on but did not work. It was all great but felt it needed a bit of care and attention.

Lovely place. Very quiet which is surprising as so close to the airport. Staff very helpful. Rooms very spacious and very comfortable. Bar evening menu bit limited. Great breakfast.

Nice place, staff could have been a little friendlier. Food was decent in the restaurant, but a little overpriced for what it was. Overall it was a nice place to stay but the staff didn't seem to acknowledge much, just sort of "meh". Rooms were nice and clean and trying to be swanky. In a little bit of an odd location. It's only a stone's throw to the airport but taxis will charge you at least 15-20 pounds back and forth. That was annoying. For a 5 minute ride or so, that's a ripoff.

The room was really good. The service was not good. The food for a quality Hotel was diabolical

Staff were friendly and helpful. Place was nicely appointed and the restaurant dinner and breakfast were really great. We lived our stay here! Tanya at the spa gave an excellent neck, back and shoulders massage. I just wish they offered a longer time. Our only things about our room was that the shower screen did not stay on the barge edge so water went everywhere. Secondly, the towel rack was really hot and when you don’t know and touch it it was a shock. A little warning sign would help to fix the problem if the temperature is not adjustable. Stunning building and we enjoyed it. We also found it very quiet in our room. And also, considering how close it is to the airport, we never heard anything.

I've stayed here multiple times. It's my go-to in Edinburgh. I love it here- very clean, comfortable, and great staff.
