Excellent location the Gorge Staff were great the service was fantastic Although the beds were too soft for me my overall experience (food, rooms, location) of the hotel was amazing - I will definitely stay here again

We would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely book again. Staff were all amazing. Couldn’t do enough to help. Housekeeping staff went above and beyond! Food was 10 out of 10… free parking always a bonus. Bed was comfortable. Although noisy with traffic we found it didn’t deter from a good nights sleep.

Very welcoming. Spotlessly clean throughout. Murray and his team were all lovely and very helpful. Delicious food, both the breakfasts and the evening meals were amazing and plentiful. Good location for Cheddar Gorge and the caves.

On checking in the manager made us feel very welcome and showed us to our room. The room was a good size and the bed very comfy. Towels were soft and fluffy and large. There is a lovely welcome tray which included nuts, jelly babies, cookies plus the regular tea and coffee. The evening meal was delicious and the staff were very friendly. My husband couldn’t make if down to breakfast due to a migraine so the manager organised for a breakfast bap to be cooked and wrapped for him so that on departure we could take it with us and he could have something to eat when he felt better. This was very thoughtful and my husband was very grateful for it later in the day. We would definitely stay here again and walking to the caves and other restaurants is only an 8 minute walk.

Great!

Amazing room and their food is excellent, will definitely look to stay here again if in the area in the future. Definitely better than a boring chain hotel, feels very homey :)
