Staff very helpful and friendly. Cookies and ice lolly on arrival for children was very welcome. Staff went extra mile. Nice furnishings. Only one point was the battered fish meal for both myself and husband was not very good. Fish overcooked, dark overdone batter, very basic for £17.95 each - shame as meals on previous night were nice. Ate out on 3rd night as did not want to be disappointed again. But got a couple of coffees and at first mine had a sweet taste as if suger had been left on or in the mug and both my coffee and husband’s were extremely weak, we left them after a few sips and left with the children. Sand pit and pool were both big hits. But sand pit allowed us to have a drink whilst they played happily. Lemon and lime water was a nice touch in reception. Overall had a lovely stay and enjoyed our break. Would stay again.
