The key reason for lodging is to get a good night's sleep. Three of Five nights, we didn't. I grew up in the East where radiators pop, hiss and clang. The sound of sledge hammer blows coming out of the radiator were unprecedented and made it impossible to sleep. They pretended not to understand our problem when we complained but they knew what they were doing when they placed us in the room closest to the problem. Did they move us? NOPE! Even though the hotel was only half full. Outside of this issue, we liked the hotel. Mr. Lamb (bowler hat guy) checked us in and remarked that we got a great rate. Maybe that's why we got the cacophony room. When it drops below 40 degrees outside and the boiler for the radiators is on, room 57 cannot be slept in.
