Our stay started very poorly. Our AC unit made a terrible noise when we turned it on--sounded like a jack-hammer (at the very least like a generator operating). I called the front desk to let him know of the too LOUD AC unit and to see if we could change to another room. He replied that "all the AC units sound that way." He obviously did not want to help us. Since it was after midnight, we were stuck with it. So we spend a very loud night. The next morning the breakfast was very poor with water instead of juice in the juice machines and in the decaf coffee, no jelly for toast, and no milk for the cereal. I had had enough and approached the front desk. I presume it was the manager because he was at least responsive to getting milk for the breakfast and said he would come to the room to see about the AC. He did indeed come to our room, heard the AC unit, proclaimed that he had checked it the day before and it was fine, and was very apologetic. He IMMEDIATELY moved us to a new room. I applaud this gentleman for fixing the situation. The night staff needs some training on accommodating serious issues that arise.
