This place is amazing, the people are friendly, the place is clean and beautiful. I recommend this place for business or vacation.

The hotel was beautiful and very clean. Our room was a little on the small side and a too warm for our taste. The room its self was cool but as soon as you got under the down comforter you were hot. So we didn’t sleep great which was a major downer. But our in-room breakfast was delicious and the staff was great! So overall, it was a nice stay but probably would not return.

Great historic hotel. Staff was very friendly and they made me feel at home. This is my new home when I'm in Houston.

The stay was amazing! All of my needs were taken care of. There was a discrepancy in payment, which I paid in full prior, the front desk worker fixed it and worked everything out. Definitely going back!!!!

Everything was just perfect!

I was in Houston for a business trip, and I chose the Lancaster because of the great reviews. I arrived around 11:30 am on Sunday morning, and was informed by valet that they would be closing at 3:00 pm that day, and would not open again until Friday! I had to park in a lot behind the building and pay the meter daily! I was upset that I wasn’t told that prior to arrival in the fine print, so my stay started off badly. However, the second I checked in (irritated at dragging my bags around the building), I met Russell at the desk, and my entire stay turned around! He was so awesome and accommodating that I instantly forgot about the parking! Complimentary champagne, a beautiful upgraded room with a handwritten note from management, and early check-in... I was smiling again! The hotel is beautiful, and the bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. Complimentary breakfast made to order every morning, and every one was so accommodating. I was there for a meeting with a client that met me at the hotel, and upon her arrival, Russel rang my room, and my clients were seated downstairs with champagne in hand by the time I got to the lobby. Such a great touch to an important meeting! Exquisite hotel with impeccable service! I will only stay there every time I’m in Houston from now on! And that Russell is a keeper!!
