The hotel took care of us, kept everything comfortable, and stress free despite a hurricane. The team was proactive, worked hard, commonicated, executed what they prepared for in addition to covid, and kept everything running. The GM is a great leader, hands on, and took care of us and the property. I can't say this often but we were able to relax and enjoy the property despite Hurricane Delta in the middle of our vacation. Kudos to this team for keeping us safe.

Our third stay at this hotel was unique. We were delayed a day because of a tropical storm, arrived on Sunday, and Monday night received a communication from the hotel about the impending Hurricane Delta. After discussing, we decided to stay through the hurricane. The hotel was nothing short of amazing. They set us up in a social distant manner in their conference room, with cots, blankets, pillows and a little care package and even managed to keep the AC and internet on most of the night. They provided hot meals, games, and regular updates. The little space we have here cannot begin to describe the love and care we were given by all the staff. Over the subsequent days the manager, Patrick, was seen working tirelessly to fix the damage done in order to bring this amazing hotel back to a usable and enjoyable shape for the 30 or so guests who stayed. The staff were so amazing. The restaurants opened up soon after and kept providing us with the usual excellent service we have grown accustomed to receiving. And when the second hotel we were supposed to transfer to at the end of our trip canceled our reservation without warning, we were more than relieved to return to finish out our stay at this wonderful place. Cannot recommend enough.

Wonderful resort, staff, restaurants and amazing beach with pools !!!

Second time at this hotel, and once again they did not disappoint. Masks were worn by all staff, restaurants were re-arranged to allow for social distancing. The room was lovely, the service was impeccable at all levels. Will visit again soon.

Loved this hotel!!! It’s absolutely beautiful and so well maintained. The food is soooo good!!! Beautiful beach, the room was nice and clean, the bed and pillows were soft and comfortable. Will absolutely go back.

Couldn’t have asked for more during our weeklong stay at the Presidente. Their attention to COVID safeguards is meticulous. All towels and eating utensils come sealed in plastic bags, staff wear masks and gloves at all times, the list goes on. Felt safer here than in the U.S. Service was excellent and the staff were so kind- we never heard a ‘no’ whatever we asked. We saw reviews about mosquitos being bad but they were not an issue for us. They provide bug spray in the rooms in case you forget to pack. Food is really good and reasonably priced. Snorkeling from the beach is good, no matter your experience. Was better in past years but still a great spot. There were times we were the only ones on the beach. If you’re looking for peace and rest with a beautiful view, this is the place.This was our fourth visit. We were skeptical about coming back after last visit two years before but they totally redeemed themselves. Everything we needed was here, there was no need to leave the resort. Thanks for everything!

Amazing location on the west side of the island. Great snorkeling without even having to leave the property, and a convenient scuba shop on premises. Food was tasty, staff was friendly and helpful. Ocean was turquoise clear and beautiful. Will definitely be back. Just be aware there are lots of mosquitoes so wear your repellent.
