The pictures on the web site are deceiving it looks nice and new but the hotel is old and it needs a complete renovation. Couldn't sleep because the air conditioner was so loud it was horrible. will not be coming back to this facility.

I paid a higher rate that I thought would give me a jetted tub. Front desk was I able to credit me for the difference when he informed me I wasn’t getting the feature.

Nice size room that was clean and quiet. Convenient to downtown and other Asheville destinations.

The non-smoking pet room smelled like cigarette smoke. Overpriced for what you get - it’s worth the extra $50-100 to stay in a nicer hotel closer to downtown.

I did not experience any negative situations at this hotel like the ones that were mentioned in previous reviews. This property was one of the low to moderately priced sites in the Asheville area when we booked mid-October. The units are aged significantly. The furniture is near the end of its useable life, the bathroom facilities were clean enough (but not pretty), and the halls & rooms smelled of smoking. All of this was expected for the price compared to the other properties. This hotel allows smoking in some rooms, or at least has in the past. They also allow pets. I heard dogs barking in the hallways and I had a room that was adjoining to another room through an interior door where a small yappy dog aggressively barked at the door between the rooms when we made noise. The owner of this pet yelled at it and it calmed down. All in all, I'm chocking this stay up to you get what you pay for. If it's a cheaper than average hotel, you should have less than average expectations. I only slept in the room as we came to town to explore things. The linens were clean enough and the bathroom was clean enough. Those were the most important factors.

Pros: Convenient location, close to major highways, dining places. Cons: Poor Wi-Fi connection. We have to call 3 times to restart Wi-Fi services. Breakfast package time 8 to 10am was not practical to early hikers like us.

Let me start off by saying i usually love laquinta hotels. But this one does not live up to the laquinta standards by any means. This is a privately owned laquinta. There were stained towels. Im nit even sure they were washed. The shower curtain was dirty. It was a cheap shower head. The lobby wasnt clean and there were fees that weren't known about. They were out of creamer for your coffee. The night guy that checked us in said they only had decaf coffee which wasnt true. It just wasnt worth the stay.
