Room was small, hard to move around. Shower did not drain so had to keep it short to avoid flooding the room. 3 of seven days housekeeping took away our towels and left only one bath towel. Perhaps we were to share? Food at beach bar is better than at restaurant. However breakfast buffet is good. Hard to feel value though as it costs $30 USD per person.

It's Africa. Something always will be missing: AC might not work in your room, hangers might not be in your closet, taxi doesn't come to the hotel main entrance, etc.. Main problem, nobody speak English, the rest with very minimum. Hard to ask & explain anything. When travel to Africa, remember: pay more, get less! For $450/night anywhere else you get much more & better service, do not expect this in Senegal.

The staff really goes above and beyond to make it a pleasant stay. Close to ferry to Gorée Island and close to Markets!

It was a terrible checkin. I was told by the employee that payment is not done though i already reserved and paid online on hotels.com. Though i called hotels.com several time but problem was not solved and because it was late night check-in had to put 600Euro as a guarantee to check-in until payment is done by hotel.com. Even the next day i had to do several international calls to hotels.com which caused additional cost on me to get the problem solved. Eventually i wasted lot of time, money and had to skip several meetings and arrived late to airport to catch my flight as i was leaving on the same day.

My booking was with breakfast but while checkin it was not shown in their system. Shower water of bathroom was leaking from ground inside the room and made bad smell.

Very nice hotel, friendly staff who are happy to run around after you. Beautiful pool area next to sea. Very handy for Senegalese government buildings.
