Before going to this hotel I read mixed reviews on it. All reviews seemed totally positive or totally negative, no in between. Some reviews mentioned "renovation" so I was hopeful. After being there I see "renovation" means another coat of paint over the problem areas. On the positive side, location. We had a nice 15 minute walk to Globe Life Field. AT&T stadium is across the street. The beds were comfortable but the sheet had an unidentifiable stain (rust, blood?). A new sheet was delivered upon request to our 3rd room... Our first room's tub faucet couldn't be shut off, running about 2-3 gallons of water a minute! (On when we entered the room) Second room, we discovered the floor was SOAKED from the entry to past the first bed!! These first 2 rooms were not next to each other. The third room was a compromise as we quickly realized its likely to not get any better. This hotel has OBVIOUS water issues in many locations. Wall coverings are drooping due to the wetness (in all 3 rooms). Shady people were sitting on the hotel entry steps and lurking in the parking lot but overall we felt safe (?) This is a NO frills hotel. So don't expect much. Bring your own shampoo, they did have bar soap. No coffee in the room, but available in the lobby in the morning. Ear plugs will serve you well too, as the walls are paper thin. You will here neighbor room conversations, people walking in the hallway and traffic on all sides of the building.
