Good tips I read that are helpful, is that there are multiple Dormy Inn's in the city, so remember to go to the Central Park one! You can take a bus down the main street, or do a 20 minute walk from the station. I ended up using the bus for when I had my heavy luggage. I stayed one night while traveling around Kagawa in my rental car. The Hotel O. Setouchi seems to be a new, small boutique hotel. Easy parking on site. Easy check in. Friendly staff member. Though the room was a little small, it was modern and tastefully decorated. I was given a pass to use the large onsen across the street, which was wonderful for my legs after a long day of hiking / walking. The onsen complex has a restaurant. Other than that, I didn't see any restaurants within walking...

The floor I was on and room smelt like cigarette smoke for some reason, had to turn on the humidifier to clean the air in my room. Other than that it’s a nice setting, decent room space, and great staff

The location was superb! up on the mountain, remote and quiet. Fantastic view of the entire city both in the morning and in the evening. Huge and clean room, staff are very nice and friendly. But it may not be convenient if you dun rent a car. Stayed two nights and enjoyed very much!

Great location that can be easily reached from takamatsu station by the local kotoden line. Surrounded by great places to eat. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Dormy Inn is the hidden gem for foreigners looking for affordable hotel stays with luxury amenities. They have onsens, delicious local juice, coffee, ice cream, and noodle soups (time dependent) all included for guests. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful.
