Akita Prefecture Hotels

Beautiful space - elegant, simple, comfortable, best dinner I’ve had on this trip.

Very much a Japanese experience for those wanting one. A bit on the expensive side however.

Off all the chain hotels we stayed in in Japan, this is our favorite, so much so that we plan to look for Daiwa hotels now when we book for future trips. Nice big lobby, bilingual staff, easy check in/out with automation, nice rooms, modern and larger bathroom. Everything seemed upgrade level. Definitely enjoyed staying there and it was near the station with lots of eateries to choose from.

Breakfast was excellent! The best I've had in any prefecture I've stayed in across a decade of visiting Japan. The staff was very helpful and kind, going above and beyond to help us with anything we needed. Due to a typhoon, we missed the first day we had booked, and the staff was kind enough to not charge us for the wasted night. In one of our rooms, there was an unpleasant odor whenever we entered. Amazing hotel for the price. Very happy with our stay. The onsen was great. Everything was provided in the hotel that we needed.

You can have free ramen while 21:30-23:00, and it’s pretty good.

Our room was more spacious than many of the hotels that we’ve stayed at in Japan. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was great!

Very clean and quiet stay in a great location - highly recommend for the price!

Location was good, next to Akita station. Room was clean. My only issue is the bathroom, specifically the toilet paper roll holder. The bathroom is already small, but the holder was too big that the bathroom was more cramped to move around. I kept hitting the holder with my leg.

Absolutely wonderful and convenient. The breakfast was delicious and the staff extremely professional and helpful. We will definitely stay here again.

Such a wonderful stay again. The best thing about this hotel for me is the all you can eat breakfast in which they serve local famous ingredients like tomburi & nagaimo, Hinai-jidori tsumire meat ball. Location is another thing I like. From here, you can enjoy a little walk around the Keijo Park, visit Akita-inu museum and appreciate the gorgeous view of Mt. Ho-o alongside Nagaki river. Come experience all this and you'll definitely love it.

Close to a JR station and walkable to the main Odate station, close to a bus stop and the desk is helpful to call a Taxi if that is what you are after instead. Close to the Akita Museum and places to eat, about a 4-5 minute walk to the nearby Lawson's as well as about a 10-15minute walk to the mall which has a big shop for food and drinks as well as a Daiso. Peaceful area, beautiful views of nature and the mountains that surround Odate. I just wish there had been an outlet next to the bed but...

This is a fabulous place to stay to see Shinjuku without being overwhelmed by lights, crowds, or noise. It's an easy walk from the Nisei-Shinjuku station or subway lines. Our room was larger than the rooms we had grown accustomed to in traveling Japan. The room was clean and had all the amenities we needed. We added breakfast for 5,000 yen and were pleased with this as well. Staff were friendly and welcoming.
