"I’ve been blessed to stay in many five-star luxury hotels and resorts. But my October 1st to 4th stay at The Leela Palace in Jaipur was one of the most wonderful experiences of my life. Put this extraordinary hotel on your bucket list. From the moment my nephew and I arrived, we felt at home and were welcomed like Maharajas. Shashwati, Gautam and Aryan greeted us warmly, and Aryan, our exceptional butler, looked after us throughout our stay. At Jamavar, Aryan introduced us to Priya and our waiter, Shubara, who arranged a delicious traditional Rajasthani dinner with impeccable service. Madhumita, a restaurant manager, later arranged our reservation at Amber Terrace, where Kishan and Nini served a magnificent Asian dinner featuring local vegetables. Each morning, Aryan escorted us to breakfast, where Ayusu welcomed us. Marish, the breakfast chef, and Manisha visited our table and ensured we enjoyed the traditional Rajasthani selections. Our private courtyard, beautiful room, and gracious service were unforgettable. The Leela Jaipur has no competitor, except her loving sister, the Leela Palace New Delhi."
"There was a personal touch to the experience and the folk music in the background with real artist playing it brought in a very calm and peaceful stay overlooking Lake Pichola gave the most luxurious experience"
"We loved our stay at Suryagarh and it exceeded our expectations in every way possible. Right from checking in, where we felt like royalty, to the spaciousness and cleanliness of the rooms to finally the staff
(from housekeeping to the cafeteria to the pool) who were extremely professional and always went the extra mile to ensure our comfort and make us feel at home. The buffet breakfast was sumptuous and every item that we had for dinner was delicious and served very tastefully. In short, right from the decorations to the manner in which food items were served was royal without becoming garish. Every single staff member deserves mention, but I would like to especially mention Paramjeet, Latif, Jalal, Rahul B, Vanshika and her team for their exemplary service, as well as Rahul U, Grace and Sandhiya for making our stay very pleasant. Also, the immaculate lawns and landscaping were very tastefully done. We definitely didn’t get to spend enough time, looking forward to our next trip to Suryagarh very soon🙏"
"We had a very pleasant stay and enjoyed the breakfast selection. We would particularly like to mention the concierge Jitchendra who was most helpful in arranging our 2 day tour of all the main attractions. All the staff were very friendly and polite."
"Here’s a polished version:
The property is excellent overall, and we really enjoyed our stay. However, the location is quite far from the city centre, and getting around can be challenging due to the limited availability of public transportation nearby.
I would highly recommend that the property consider arranging a complimentary shuttle service at scheduled times for guests who want to visit the market or other well-known attractions. We had already spent one day exploring through a tour, but having a shuttle option would make the stay much more convenient, especially given how far the property is from the city centre."
"The Verandah is excellent value in Udaipur. We booked a king size room with a balcony overlooking the lake. The views were wonderful. The room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was good with hot water for the shower.
The restaurant was good and the breakfast including the coffee which was excellent.
The location is ideal for visiting the city's key sites, many in walking distance or a short auto rickshaw drive away. It is located in an area that cars cannot access so you have to plan to use a rickshaw to reach the property.
The staff were the highlight however. Pretty much everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. Nimmi at reception was a particular standout. She was cheerful and helpful on every occassion.
Overall highly recommend this property!"

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Rajasthan
Book for the cheapest times: The most budget-friendly time to visit Rajasthan is from May to July, when hotel prices are typically lower. For a great value for money experience, a stay of at least 2 days is recommended to fully appreciate the region's key landmarks and cultural attractions. During this time, you can explore historical sites like forts and palaces, experience the rich heritage, and enjoy the stunning natural beauty that Rajasthan has to offer. Prices could drop even further, making it an ideal opportunity for those traveling on a budget.

Be flexible with dates: Prices may vary depending on factors like the hotel's location, star rating, and time of year. Adjusting your travel dates might help you save on your stay at a Rajasthan hotel. Boutique hotels offer unique, personalized experiences and may provide better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we'll inform you if the price for your selected dates is above or below the average. If it's on the higher side, we'll suggest more affordable dates that could help you find a better deal.
Consider your location: Staying in the heart of major cities in Rajasthan can provide a level of convenience that many travelers seek, but it often comes with a higher price tag. Accommodations in these bustling areas are typically more expensive due to their proximity to popular attractions, dining, and entertainment. In contrast, smaller towns and rural regions tend to be more likely to offer affordable lodging options. For those looking to stretch their budget, considering hotels just outside the city center can be a smart move, although it may require a bit more travel to reach key sites. Additionally, exploring nearby cities can reveal a wealth of experiences and attractions while presenting more wallet-friendly options for your stay.
