We have been to New York City many many times over the years. This hotel was our very favorite overall. We stayed at fancier ones. We’ve stayed at National chains. The personal care and attention you get from everyone at Hotel Scherman has been unsurpassed. While my husband would have preferred bacon and eggs biscuits and gravy for breakfast, the kids and I were very happy with the complementary continental breakfast. The walk ability to Broadway shows and Times Square was wonderful. We never...

Great location! Great restaurants nearby! Comfortable beds. It would have been nice though if a little birthday card or something was put in my room! Other than that you cannot go wrong staying here and I’m planning to again!

Very nice staff. Rooms a bit small but was enough for a couple. Bed was comfortable. It is in very good location we were able to walk around everywhere and eat good food around the hotel. We enjoyed our time there.

We enjoyed our two night stay at the Romer's. We came in on the subway from JFK, and it was about 1 block walk from the subway station. We came to eat food and see the museums, and Hell's Kitchen is ground zero for foodies! We found great places to eat within a 15 minute walking distance. Two things we didn't prepare for. We came to NYC with practically no cash, as we had just come from a recent trip to Europe, where everything is cashless. Tips are still paid in cash in NYC in many...

My stay was nothing short of amazing. Every time I visit New York, I try to stay here. During my most recent visit, I was pleasantly welcomed by trainees at the front desk who were both friendly and professional. Elijah, in particular, stood out he was very knowledgeable and made the check-in process smooth and enjoyable.

The staff took great care of us. They stored our luggage and were very generous with getting in and out of our luggage when we needed. They helped us find a good restaurant to eat. We were only in the city for overnight. The staff is genuine. The room was very small but nice. It is also New York City so a small room is ok. The room was clean.

Stayed here the night before leaving on a cruise. Very clean hotel and walkable to all of the attractions. Our ac went out in our room and the staff upgraded us to the Hudson View suite!!! Amazing. Staff was super friendly and came to find me at the rooftop bar Hudson Vu (which is also amazing) to inform me of the upgrade. 10/10 would definitely stay here again.

This hotel was one of the best ones that I have stayed at in NYC! Very clean, friendly staff, and convenient for the Javits Center. The area around it was OK, a little busy next to the Port Authority. However, rooms were spacious and nice, perfect for four people. I have a few suggestions though, and one would be to bring your own pillow! Maybe I am too picky, but the pillows were a bit lumpy for my taste. My second suggestion would be to pay attention to the resort fee! All hotels in NYC have a...

Great NYC Hotel! Very convenient location right by Columbus Circle. Easy access to the subway and the 1 train which makes it simple to get up and downtown in a flash. All around a great spot for a quick trip into the city.
