Absolutely lovely hotel with impeccable service and attention to detail. Complimentary beverages in the mini-bar were a very nice touch and the Japanese breakfast was very good. Subway stop was right down the block so very convenient for getting around the city. Not a lot in the immediate area in terms of restaurants but with the subway so close, it was not a problem. Will definitely stay again.

Our stay at Hotel Niwa made our Japan trip exceptional! As American travelers in our early 30s, we found this place to be a gem in Tokyo. The hotel's ambiance was simply beautiful, and the rooms were surprisingly spacious for a city known for compact spaces. Its prime location, just a 5-minute walk from a JR line, made navigating Tokyo incredibly convenient. Excellent hotel, right next to Ginza within walking distance. There is a taxi stand and subway right outside the hotel. JR station is also 5 mins walking distance. Imperial palace and garden are two blocks away. The hotel is quiet and clean. The breakfast is western style with a great selection of fruit, salad and pastries. The hotel staff is very friendly. Will definitely stay again if visiting Tokyo.

The Narita Airport limosine bus stops directly at this hotel, so it's very convenient if you don't want to carry a bunch of luggage on the shinkansen/local trains. There's a FamilyMart in a section of the building, on the second floor. The nearest metro station is the Akasaka-mitsuke station, and use the D exit (the yellow blocks on Google Maps).
