"The hotel was set in the right part of Lyon and very convenient. It has the quaintness of an older hotel, but the ways of a new one. Our room is full of light and had a quaint little fireplace in it. The only drawback was we were right next to the hotel Sign so the room was lit all night otherwise very lovely and the people were very kind."

"The hotel is beautiful, the staff is welcoming and helpful, and it is perfectly located for walkable journeys in all directions. Vieux Lyon is close by. There are markets on both the Rhône and the Saône. You can see the Basilica of Notre-Dame de Fourvière from the hotel, and it’s situated right on Place Bellecour. "Good location in Perrache next to the T2 tram which runs to/from the main station at Part Dieu. 10 mins walk to Vieux Lyon which is the characterful part of Lyon. Bars and restaurants nearby. Very clean, good breakfast (including hot items). Room was compact but had view over Place Carnot. I would stay here again."

"We loved the historic nature of the hotel with its 200 year old stone steps. The rooms were spacious and the furniture comfortable, though dated. Breakfast offerings were varied, though they need a way to keep the eggs warmer."
