Weather was very hot ..room had a roof fan and a smaller fan ..was still very hot..the towel rail was full on very hot ..luckly found out how to turn it off..has hair dryer in draw worked well..had a meal which was very good large portions.. would recommend hotel... need a car as too far of main road for bus

Great stay at Quy Mill for 2 nights. The place was peaceful and well presented and the staff were so helpful. We were running the Newmarket half marathon and had to leave before breakfast, asked about getting something to eat early and a tray of wonderful continental selections arrived at our room bang on time. Food in restaurant was good and couldn’t believe it was £4 a pint at the bar too - bonus!

We had a nice overnight stay in this hotel, the evening meal in the restaurant was really good and the breakfast was excellent (we both had the delicious Eggs Benedict but also appreciated the fresh fruit pots and mini pastries). Room was clean and the only reason I've gone for 4 stars is that the plug in the bathroom sink got stuck although when we reported it to reception we were offered the chance to move rooms so they did try to rectify the situation. The only other thing to note was that our visit happened to coincide with a party in the marquee outside although the loud music did stop at midnight and we had received a message from the hotel earlier in the week warning us there was an event on so not a big problem. We're planning on a return visit to make use of the spa facilities.

Lovely room, although the bathroom smelt a bit damp. The restaurant was excellent for both dinner and breakfast 5 stars for the chef and waiting staff. I used the pool which was lovely too, although the floor in the ladies changing room was dirty and a bit slippery. Sauna was nice - would definitely book again.

The food and staff were lovely, really enjoyed the spa and massages. The only thing was that our room number 21 was right above the restaurant. You could hear the doors slamming as staff go in and out the side doors of the restaurant and the music was audible through the floor. It was disturbing our sleep in the night and early morning hours.

Lovely stay in the hotel for three nights. The room was spotless, with plenty of coffee, Tea, water and complimentary shower gels, shampoos etc. we ate in the hotel on the first night, and the food was lovely. My husband and I both had the fish and chips and I can recommend it. We had breakfast each day, which was freshly cooked, and great quality. I used the spa facilities. The pool was the warmest I have ever been in, it was a real bonus for me. It was also spotlessly clean and was lovely and calm and peaceful. The staff were very friendly and polite all around the hotel, and Ben in particular was keen to make sure that we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We will certainly be back soon!
