Excellent location. Exceptionally friendly staff. And Gigi the resident cat is adorable. The only reason I didn’t give it 10/10 is the hot and cold water control for the shower was reversed. Didn’t realize that until day 2 after 2 cold showers, but it was hot out anyway.

My room was big and clean. The location was great. Walking distance to the beach, bars and restaurants. The guy making breakfast was very nice. Breakfast options were an omelette (ham and/or American cheese), breads, cereal, fruit and juice. The shower took forever to get hot, but once it did, it was great. When I arrived, the guy working the front desk was very nice and helpful. My major complaint is no one answered the phone before I arrived. 12 hours after booking this hotel I needed to change plans. I called the hotel 5 times, over 2 days, during their open hours, and left a message and no one answered or called me back. I reached out to Hotels.com to see if they could get a hold of someone and they didn't have any luck either. I messaged the hotel through Hotels.com and 2 days later they finally got back to me, but by that time, it was too late. I don't understand how a business doesn't answer their phone especially when they say you have to contact them if you're checking in after 10pm. If my flight had been delayed, how was I supposed to let them know I would be arriving after 10pm? After I checked out, I did receive an email and a text via WhatsApp confirming my security deposit had been refunded. Which was nice. Great location. Very clean renovated room. So fresh that there was a lingering smell of paint on the first night which dissipated afterwards. Kudos to the staff, especially Blas who was very friendly, welcoming and attentive. Great stay overall!
