The hotel, territory, and the room was simply fantastic. The beach is well kept and amazing. The restaurants on site offered very tasty healthy quality food. Staff was superbly attentive and each time we came to eat remembered our names. Very personal service and complimentary beers in the room every day. Would definetly go again!

We have just finished a week's vacation at the hotel. It should be noted that the property is very beautiful, with an amazing view of the sea, but there are a few minuses that are important to note. The hotel is built of several parts on different levels and it is very inconvenient to walk from the rooms to the pool and restaurants. Yes, there is a golf cart shuttle service, but you have to call to reserve. We were there during a period when the weather was very hot, very humid, in the restaurant that functions as a dining room, the air conditioning is almost not noticeable, so it is unpleasant to eat there, the kitchen is not run efficiently, the dishes are delayed much longer than normal. Although the hotel is very, very expensive, the spa is not included in the price, using the sauna costs a hundred dollars per person per day, simply outrageous. There are no umbrellas in the pools and it is difficult to avoid the strong sun.

My check-in experience wasn’t the best, my room was not ready and I had to wait almost 2 hours with my kids after we’ve been traveling all day for the room to be ready. We were escorted to the pool area to wait there. We were not even offered water while we waited, I had to keep asking people if they knew when my room would be ready because I wasn’t getting any updates related to my room. My my room was OK and it had an amazing view, I do not like area rugs in rooms. The area rug that was under our beds was dirty and stained. I could tell nobody had vacuumed it. there were hairs in the sink that were not ours housekeeping came around every day, but did the bare minimum I asked for the floor we clean one day after our day because there was sand everywhere from us going to the beach and they would just keep fixing our bed and emptying the trash, but not cleaning the floors. Besides that staff was amazing, everyone was really nice. Julio went out of his way to make us feel welcome and comfortable since day one and throughout our stay the food was very, very good. The only thing I didn’t like was when I went to have dinner or tried to have dinner at Tico Tica, they asked me if I had a reservation, which I did not have yet there were multiple tables empty and they wanted me to wait an hour. That was a downer. I also had a massage done and it was amazing. Overall, I don’t know if I wouldn’t necessarily stay in this hotel again. It was just an ok experience.

Overall the hotel is good, very new and clean. Not so private tho because the beach is public. the staff is friendly. But receptionists make you feel miserable and look down at you even if you stay in the best suite. This is someone unexpected in a 5 star property and especially in friendly Latin American country . Very disappointing won’t be back.

We went for our 10 year wedding anniversary. First time to Costa Rica. Could not have had a better experience. The campus was spotless and verdant. Amazing property, wonderful staff…my only gripe would be that there isn’t an adults only pool. When getting away from kids, it would be nice to have an adults only area with no kids allowed. All in all though, we loved it. Room was great, food was amazing, and service was top notch. We’ll still be back…possibly just with our kids next time instead.
