My wife and I stayed at the Sanctuary Cap Cana resort to celebrate out 10yr anniversary. We were looking for a relaxing, quiet, beautiful resort with great server and received just that. It is worth noting, the three speciality restaurants (Wok, Steakhouse and Capriccio require closed toed shoes for the evening with Capriccio requiring long pants as well. The staff was absolutely amazing! The beach is pretty small and I would have loved more local food but overall it was an amazing trip.

However the activities staff including- especially Enmanuel and Abel were absolutely outstanding!

All the property was inmaculate. The staff informs you always when a no included item you are interested, so no hidden charges. The food was amazing and the kitchen staff were very aware of any special food item you liked more, to please you next day...one of the chefs Julio, even share some goat curry he has made for the staff with me because I let him note i just like. It was some of these small details that want me come back again to the property. The only bad experience was that the beautiful beach I was dreamed for was covered in sargassum and was not able for use, so the full experience was not met. The are a nice asian fussion restaurant the "Wok " that serves sushi rolls, my experience is was the rolls were extremelly cold, and was not a pleasant one...other than this the place was very good. In the room fridge there were some bottles of water, soda and son beers, not bad, but compared with other resorts of the area ( like Secrets) that includes some whyskies and runs, or other spirits i was a difference that others could weight, they have Bars open almost all night and in many places, but there are moments when you prefer not to go outside the room for a drink. But in general the place and location are premium, and very well care. Thank you Sanctuary staff!!!
