This hotel has a lot of potential because the location is excellent, and the rooms are very spacious. One of the highlights of our stay was the second shift front desk and hotel staff. They were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. They truly made a positive impression. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the room was a major disappointment. While the room was large, it was noticeably dirty and did not feel well maintained. We were so uncomfortable with the condition of the room that we didn’t even feel comfortable letting our children crawl on the floor. It really took away from what could have been an enjoyable stay.

My family and I have stayed here on several occasions, often for a week or so at a time. They have definitely improved from cleanliness and overall hospitality compared to the last time we stayed (around 2023). The rooms could still be a bit cleaner (there was still dirt, hair on the floors that got picked up by our socks; the showers could be cleaner and the shower curtains definitely need to be updated/replaced as ours was torn. Also, this place caters to animals, so you will be around a lot of people with dogs. This doesn't bother us, but it might to those who suffer from allergies or are particular to the smell of dog in general down the hallway. However, the amenities it provides outweigh those things (for us); we have younger kids, so we need a kitchenette for picky eaters (we don't like to eat out all the time), and a separate room for mom/dad and kids; and this is perfect. Our kids like the pool and the outdoor setting is just so much nicer than many other places in Tallahassee. Also having a decent breakfast (not perfect, but better than basic continental) and some nights for extra food (not perfect, but it's included), is great for us.
