Excellent experience at the RIU Manhattan Times Square Hotel. The professionalism started the moment we walked into the hotel until we checked out 5 days later. The breakfast buffet was huge, it had 15 hot items plus fruit and cereal. The location was nice because of how close it was to transit. I think a resort fee for this property is a little extreme, give that fee covered use of a “business center” (1 computer and a printer) and the gym (which was the same as any other hotel gym)

If you want to stay on times square, this is a great place. The hotel was clean, and quiet. We could not tell we were in downtown New York if it was not for the view of the city. The buffet breakfast was excellent. Our room was surprisingly cramped-our 2 queen beds basically filled the entire room. The drop off/pick up situation was a nightmare. If you are using your own car, or a rental, I recommend walking to a distance a few blocks away where there is less congestion.
