The room was a superior twin and was quite spacious. It was , however, dated and required minor repairs or even modernisation. The evening meal reminded me of a school refectory - regimented serving times and seating- this was not á lá carte either. The breakfast buffet, on the other hand, was a better experience - a good selection and choices to start the day. The staff were helpful and friendly but I had to ask twice for clean towels , tea and coffee replenishment.

Very warm welcome by Sarah on reception, set our stay off to a lovely start. Our room was on the corner of the building, which gave us beautiful sea views & a breeze through the windows which was appreciated in this heatwave. Yes the building is a bit tired with it's decor, but our bathroom was fully modernist, clean & our beds were super comfy. Hotel parking at £6 is a bargain & £10 for a pre booked breakfast was a bargain, we had a wonderful buffet breakfast with plenty of choices. The location is ideal, on the sea front, close to shops, restaurants & a 12 minute easy walk to the theatre. I would happily re visit this hotel, especially due to the lovely staff.

Lovely hotel on the beach front with a bar, restaurant and live entertainment on some nights. We didn't have a sea view room but our room was very nice with a clean bathroom and a comfortable bed. The curtains and carpet needed cleaning but otherwise, the room was OK. The staff was very helpful, friendly and very accommodating. It's very close to lots of cafés, restaurants, bars theatres and the town centre. We would definitely stay again.

We have just come home after a 4 night stay at The Burlington. On our arrival my friend and I were a bit worried as the hotel looks a bit run down from the outside. Once we were inside, we were pleasantly surprised. We had an excellent welcome from the reception staff and the lounge and bar area's are bright and clean. Our rooms were also comfortable and clean. The breakfasts had a good selection of food and there was a good choice for the evening meals. Overall we had an enjoyable stay and felt it was good value for how much we paid.

The hotel is in a great location on the sea front. The staff are professional, very helpful and very friendly. Our double room was basic but quite nice. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom and shower were very nice. The only thing I would point out is that the carpet and curtains needed cleaning. There is a bar and entertainment area and they have live entertainment on some nights. I visit Eastbourne quite often and would stay again as the price is very reasonable.
