Enjoyed our stay at the Mercure very central to Brighton town centre. But hallways in the hotel could benefit with updating and a deep clean. There were places in the room that needed more attention to cleanliness like behind bathroom door, corner of room where tv was situated needed attention. The balcony could benefit from a jet clean. The staff were very friendly and polite.

We had a lovely view from our balcony . The staff were very friendly and attentive. Our breakfast was good very varied menu and we also had drinks in the evening in a very pleasant seating area again over looking the sea. The room was a bit tired and the wind kept blasting in through the top sachet which made it pretty cold without a radiator 'except the oil plug in one' the room was also really noisy throughout the night with the sound of bins clattering in the early hours.
