We had a wonderful stay at Paya Bunga. One of its standout features is its incredibly convenient location. Situated right in the heart of the city, the hotel is close to major attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and equipped with all the essentials for a pleasant stay. The staff are friendly and accommodating.

Good hotel in good location

Excellent location - in town centre, near many eateries and bus terminal. Cable TV, swimming pool and gym available. Unfortunately need to be in full swim suit (all cover up) if wants to swim in pool - including male guests.

Big hotel. Mostly Malasian people. Good services. Great variety of malasian food in the breakfast buffet. Don’t expect a western buffet. Definitely our room needed a refurbishment.

6/10 Good

Decent hotel in good location. Stay away from superior windowless rooms if you can — dark, weird smell, partly dirty and we were also next to elevator shaft and kept awake until 2am and then again at 4am by loud elevator sounds.

Hotel provided efficient check in and late check out and breakfast was good. At one point I requested conditioner for the room and was told they would bring it but never did and I also noticed the floor was a bit sticky in the room. Other than that a very good hotel, good parking available and a good value place to stay in KT.

The location is excellent, close to everything. There is a small shopping mall, 7-11 and Emart 24 with hot foods nearby. Staffs are nice, helpful. I just don't like the room, it looks dark & smell. Bathroom has a bad smell.

An ok room

Finding a decent hotel in Kuala Terengganu can be challenging, but this property stands out for its strategic location in the heart of the city, conveniently connected to a shopping mall. The room was comfortable, though quite basic, and the breakfast was passable but not particularly memorable. The staff were friendly and accommodating, which added a pleasant touch to the stay. However, it feels like the overall quality of products and services in Terengganu has been declining, and the city itself seems to lack energy and vibrancy. There's potential here, but it could use a fresh spark to make the experience more enjoyable.
