This cozy Inn was fun to stay in. It's got a grandmas cottage type feel. It's not as sterile as some other hotels are. The rooms are large. We had a 2 queen with twin bunk room with ample space. Air-conditioning was great. Downside is the temperature in the shower can suddenly change from warm to cold. Like when a toilet flushes or someone turns on a sink. There doesn't apear to be a temperature regulator. Walls were a little thin. We had some noisey neighbors. The halls were lined with artwork that you could purchase. The pool was good, although a little heavy on the chlorine, our eyes were burning just sitting in there. Plenty of towels available. Staff was very friendly! Breakfast was excellent.

We arrived in the evening on Memorial Day, got checked in quickly, and the staff was wonderful. The room was clean, and it met our needs for our quick visit the next day. The summer tourist season had not officially opened. We were grateful to have a microwave in our room as the grandkids wanted some Hot Pockets and tv dinner lasagna for a late meal! The kids enjoyed the indoor pool. We would definitely return to the hotel. Nauvoo is a small town. Without Casey's and the Dollar Store, Nauvoo has little to offer for eating, at least for breakfast. This may be different if visiting during the summer season. A little prior planning, preparation, and visiting the grocery store in Carthage or Keokuk would be advised!
