"First time staying here at this beautiful Historic Hotel... it will definitely be my "go-to" every time I am back in DC. From the friendly/helpful staff, the historic charm, the ideal location, the rooms are fantastic and completely quiet from the outside noise of DC; the cleaning crew was impeccable every single day replenishing everything without asking; the rooms are a generous size and beautifully decorated. STK Happy Hour is right around the corner 🍸🙌 Morrison Clark you are a gem in...

"The River Inn has become my go-to hotel in DC. Very good location and wonderful staff."

"A hidden gem in our opinion. Lovely boutique hotel, everything was perfect. The rooms, the breakfast area, the complementary cookies, water, juices etc. were so helpful. We will definitely come back and cannot recommend it strongly enough. I would also recommend a room on the 1st or second floor, they are brighter than the ones downstairs."

"Excellent location and wonderful and friendly staff"

"Helpful front desk staff, clean and well maintained property, and also have parking available onsite, which is rear in Downtown DC"

"Great place to stay. Close to the national mall, metro, and the lots museums around. The room was clean, well organized, and the halls very quiet. Breakfast buffet! It was also a huge plus! Will definitely go back."

"Great location for conferences at the Convention Center. Nice staff. Towels require more frequent attention. Personnel on each floor—whose role is unclear—should act with greater courtesy."
