"This hotel is a good option for a weekend away. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay.
Breakfast was okay, although it could be improved by offering more savoury options and a wider selection overall.
Overall, we had a nice stay"

Beautiful hotel, with fantastic gardens, exceptional rooms & service. We were lucky enough to have a large room on the third floor with gorgeous views of the gardens & hills in the distance.

The hotel is located outside the city of Bath. It's about a 30 minute walk to the city centre, so we took a local bus. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel which is very convenient. Gems assisted us at check-in and printed out the bus schedule for us!! She was very pleasant as well as all the other staff. We were having dinner at the hotel, and she walked us to the dining room. Breakfast was delicious and made to order!! The grounds of the hotel are beautiful. There is a large car...

I never do reviews but felt as if I had to since my wife and I had such an amazing stay at this hotel. Perfect location to walk to all the sites in Bath. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful.

After a long overnight flight from the US, we were delighted to be greeted by the friendly staff upon our arrival. Having a parking spot was key, and staff members kindly parked our car on arrival in the small garage and removed it when we departed as we were still getting used to the narrow lanes and left-side of the road driving. Our room was spacious and well appointed, and we had a sunny bay window looking out on to the road. We could walk to all of Bath's main attractions, and even...

I absolutely loved this hotel and would return in a heartbeat. This is the place to go if you want to feel pampered and taken care of. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. They make you feel at home. Their breakfast menu is amazing. The food is delicious and beats many of the cafes in the neighborhood. Their location is great- they are walking distance from everything, but still located in a quiet street where you can avoid too many tourists.

Lovely property, a bit too far for me from the center of Bath, through an area that did not feel quite safe later in the evening. Otherwise, a lovely property, good value for the cost

Outstanding pub! Well appointed rooms, tasteful and charming decor. We stayed here while walking the Cotswold Way. We had lunch in town before checking in and chatted with locals in the area. Each time we said we had reservations at The Crown the response would be ‘oh, great pub!’, or ‘delicious food’, or ‘oh, that’s a proper pub’. The Crown lived up to it all! Kate was a wonderful host and took care of all our needs setting us up with a trail lunch and everything. Our dinner was incredibly...

For those planning to explore the region’s rich history, landmarks, and cultural attractions such as golf, a stay of at least 2 to 3 days provides great value for money. This affordable timeframe allows visitors to comfortably experience the town's key historical sites and cultural landmarks without breaking the bank.

Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate based on various factors, including the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates may help you find a better deal on your stay at a Lansdown hotel. For those seeking a distinctive experience, boutique hotels often provide a more personalized touch and can sometimes offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price leans towards the higher end, we can suggest alternate dates that might be more affordable, potentially helping you discover a great option.
Consider your location: Staying near key attractions or downtown areas can be convenient, but it often comes with a higher price tag. For more budget-friendly options, you might want to look at hotels in neighborhoods that are usually more affordable while still providing reasonable access to the sites you plan to visit. Additionally, consider independent hotels located a bit further out; they can offer a more authentic and cost-effective experience.
