"Excellent hotel. 5 stars , posh and clean. Although very old building, it is maintained, renovated and kept as new. Lobby is fantastic and we just chilled there for coffee and ambience. Worth the stay and more. "

"The staff and the service is really the standout feature of this hotel. Room is elegant and classic. You’ll have to cross the road to use the gym but it the UC is the fanciest gym in the city."

"This hotel is in a great location and well maintained. Perfect for a DC family trip."

"I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting DC. It was a very clean room, with respectful staff, and a nice ambiance. It is within walking distance of the National Mall and other tourist spots. This hotel does offer a restaurant, but there were also many restaurants and spots to choose from (The G.O.A.T Room and For Five Coffee). The hotel offers paid parking."

"This hotel was the best hotel I have ever stayed at. They are so courteous, clean, helpful, and very accommodating. Will stay there in DC, and only there again. Top-Notch establishment!!!"

"I had a great stay here! At first, I was concerned that it was going to be noisy because my room was off of the central atrium, but it was not. My room was a nice size, and having a desk I could work at was great. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!"

"The cleanest hotel room I've ever stayed in. Staff was kind and attentive. Walkable distance to the national mall."

"Convenient to the Union Train Station. Quiet. Walking distance to Capital and the Mall. Staff great. And fun pub attached."

"Clean room, small but totally perfect for a night & location was spot on. Staff was AMAZING!!"

"Great location to Capital area. Easy 1 block walk to Union Station metro. Cute cafe shops near by. Hotel was clean, spacious and comfortable. Highly recommend!!"

"Great spot, staff super nice and helpful. Traveled with children, first time visiting the DC area. We will come back again. Also they provided us with their Lexus for a 3 hour drive around the area, including complimentary tour to the Smithsonian museums. The best!"

"Shoutout to Brian from the cafe. Julia from the front desk and Mr DC. Everyone was excellent. My view of the museum was perfect! Food was wonderful. Grab a drink at the Silver Lyan if you get a chance. Very accommodating and solid location—close to everything. Thank you!!"

"A nice hotel with an excellent bar & restaurant. The building could use a little love as it’s feeling worn down. Staff are really quite good & the breakfast is one of the best I’ve ever had… anywhere."

"Great food, quiet room. Staff were amazing and super friendly. Very good location"

"Great staff, welcoming, clean room and well maintained hotel overall. Great experience"

"We love the location. Near lots of restaurants. The hotel restaurant is nice too. A special shout out to Oscar in the Willowsong bar on the property. Oscar took great care of us!!"

"Roost was amazing. Very big room with great facilities and right next to the White House. Best place we have stayed in the US. Loved it."

"Great location within walking distance to the Wharf and the National Mall. Friendly staff. A “Capital City Bikeshare” hub right outside the hotel - it’s a breeze to rent an e-bike or traditional bike with just a scan of a QR code. We’ll be back."

"I suggest arriving early for valet. It was full by the time we arrived so we had to self park without the in/out privileges. Otherwise everything was great! The hospitality staff was excellent! They were warm & welcoming and very helpful. They made our brkfst buffet experience nice. The front desk staff was also very nice - 2 young men - wish I had gotten their names. The rooms were clean & laid out well with a nice view of the marina. Thanks!"
