以前、便が欠航になってしまった際、日本語のﾒｰﾙで丁寧に対応してくださりとても頼もしかったです。部屋も広く快適でした。残念だったのは、観光地へのアクセスが便利な場所にあるのに、親切に教えていただけなかったこと、またチェックアウトの際に、スタッフが2名しかおらず、ともに電話応対をしており、大分待たされたこと、その後割り込みした別の方から対応をしたこと、空港までの送迎をお願いしていたのに、おいていかれたこと（こちらは全く遅刻していない）、また送迎がこないことに対して、こちらからアプローチするまで何の説明もしていただけなかったことです。

サンディエゴ国際空港へはタクシーで15分程度。 10分から15分ほど北に歩けばトロリーの駅やバス停があるトランジットセンターがあり、東西南北どの方向へも交通機関を使った移動が容易にできます。 車がある方もフリーウェイが近いので便利でしょう。 ホテルの部屋は清潔で、快適に過ごすことができます。 ただ、ホテル付近から歩いていける範囲にあるレストランは限りがあるので、そこには注意が必要です。

2013年1月26日（土）Copley Symphony Hallで行われるJackson Browneのライブを見るためにサンディエゴを訪れました。 空港とのシャトルバスがあるとの事でしたがタクシーを利用。 チップも含めて20㌦以内で着ける近さでした。 ライブ会場まで歩いても全く苦にならない距離。 ガスランプもホートンプラザ、サンタ・フェ駅、ミッドウエイも徒歩圏内。 正直アメニティは最低のレベルでしたが、部屋は快適。 １階にあるバーもとってもフレンドリーで、近くに何件も7-11がありとても便利です。「４．５」以上は間違いないです。

Our stay at Pacific View Inn couldn't have been better. The staff, Neil, Justin and Diane were all very accommodating. You can't beat staying steps from the ocean for the price. My family had a great time and staff provided us with bikes to get around the beach, stores, restaurants and the boardwalk our whole stay. Great location. Close to beach, restaurants and other facilities. Smart to check out which room you order - those on the street side are very open for noice from party people on two bars near by. The best view over the pacific are from the two apartments over the receiption. You get new towels every day, but the department is cleaned only once a week. There is free street parking outside, but you may have to park some streets away because it is popular for the surfers to park as close to the beach as possible. We stayed there for a week, late mars/early april - sunny every day with a gentle breeze from the pacific, ca 20˚C. Super for us nordic people. Will be warmer later on. Definitely a great location, walking distance to bars and restaurants. It's very clean but the rooms have the bare minimum, bring your own blow dryer! It can get noisy at night if your neighbors come home tipsy from the bars, it is an older building and noise travels. Wir haben das Pacific View Inn gebucht, weil es das günstigste direkt am Pacific Beach in San Diego war. Preis war trotzdem noch heftig, aber wir wollten direkt am Beach schlafen.
