It was good hotel in Mumbai. Free Wi-fi was available in the room, 2 shopping malls are located within walking distance of the hotel. I think that this hotel is suitable not for tourist but for business person.

The Fort area is the central point of Mumbai. It was here that the commercial and administrative activities were largely concentrated in the past. Even today some of the main financial and other offices are lodged in this area. Churchgate area is in close proximity to Nariman Point, one of the most developed areas in Mumbai. Churchgate gets its name from the famed Churchgate Railway Station. Horniman Circle is the main focus of the Fort area. The Gothic and Victorian buildings in the Fort area highlight the history of the British Empire. Town Hall, an imposing neo-classical construction is located overlooking the Horniman Circle. Those with an interest in Indian art will want to visit the Jehangir Art Gallery, a well-known exhibition space in Mumbai, next to the Prince of Wales Museum. Other prominent landmarks include the Flora Fountain, the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (previously Victoria Terminus), the Municipal Corporation building, and the University of Mumbai with the Rajabai Clock tower.

"Safe area, okay value close to sights"
You can most certainly find better hotels in Mumbai at the same rate but not this close to the major sights. The rooms are basic, breakfast okay (you can order omelets etc. besides the buffet) and service okay. "Stay somewhere else!"
Stay somewhere else! -When I arrived at 11:30pm and was told I could not check-in until the manager had finished dinner (half an hour later). -I was then given a room that had neither hot water or wifi. -The next day I requested another room. The new room smelt bad, had stains on the sheets and holes in the towels. -One evening I came back to my room […] and the cleaner had left my room unlocked all day! When I went to complain to the manager he insisted that the cleaner had not been there implying I had left it unlocked (However my bed had been remade). Booked a junior suite but didn't find out the difference between this and an ordinary room Rooms were clean and comfortable and modern bathroom. TV DVD and CD player all worked. Wifi intermittent. A 5 min walk to the main train station in Mumbai, the air conditioning worked and the bathrooms were pretty good. Staff were friendly and always got cabs for us, we organised a cab to pick us up from the airport and they were waiting for us when we arrived. "A good 3 star"
Overall the hotel was good,however we booked this one due to their earlier check in than other hotels & upon arriving at the hotel the check in time had changed & we were told we would have to pay an early check in time, too tired to argue we said fine but asked for a recipt so could dispute at a later date & then we were given our funds back & told […] the service would be complimentary.... But our room was a good size, we booked the larger suite for 3 of us & had lots of space, the shower was good & hot, there is an interesting lift upto the floors & breakfast was simple but satisfactory. We came out the hotel the first morning to find them filming a Bollywood movie round the corner & the second morning there was a bunch of kids playing cricket - Mumbai is a crazy amazing city! The location of the hotel is good being so close to the main sights & the main railway station, it was 180Rs for a prepaid taxi from the CST to the hotel, it's cheaper if you take a taxi with a metre on it, you will prob pay a lot less. It is almost an hour& half from the international airport however so make sure you don't cut it fine getting to the airport. All in good 3 star hotel with spacious rooms & we got complimentary bottles of water each day & clean towels. Make sure you are clear to taxi drivers, etc that you want to go to the hotel on Ballard Estate as there is another one in the city, much further away.
