I think the advert was misleading. This establishment should have been advertised as a pub with rooms, and not an hotel? There was no-one to book me in.....just a member of the bar-staff showed me to my room. My room was freezing cold, there were cobwebs on the light fitting, no soap in the bathroom and no wi-fi access. Very loud music kept me awake […] until the early hours so did not sleep well plus the bed was very lumpy and uncomfortable. I went to have breakfast the following morning but the dining room was locked and no-one was there? Thank goodness for the tiny biscuits on the tray in my room with the coffee sachets....that's all I had to eat! I then decided to pack my suitcase and not stay another night as arranged! This was a one night stay to break a journey. The hotel was adequate and the staff very friendly. Very convenient located on the high street and the breakfast was very good.

Anyone who rates this hotel low needs a reality check! The price is superb and you get what you should get for it- good hearty breakfast, reasonable hotel, maybe a tired decor but it was clean and comfortable- all you can ask for! If I'm in the area I'd definitely stay again

I suggest someone from hotels .com stay there for a couple of nights. Staff very friendly and helpful however rooms were not up to much could have done with a dust and mattress on bed so lumpy was unable to sleep.

Quite pleasant hotel. A little quirky, no reception as such. Interesting in the bar later with manic dogs desperate to play. Hotel was quite old fashioned but clean enough and the staff were pleasant. We were asked our preferred time for breakfast which was a nice touch. overall good value for money and an enjoyable stay

Not really a Hotel more a run down pub with a few letting bedrooms . Our bedroom was dark and dingy and looked like it had been fitted out from Argos . However the one saving grace was the breakfast which was very good just that it was served in the cafe next door. I will not be back .

Cheap and cheerful, friendly staff, shower more of a drizzle, tv's dated. But overall it is a pleasant for a short stay. Dont take room 1 as its above bar and noisey.

de verenmatras was niet optimaal om op te slapen. Vriendelijke en behulpzame uitbaters. Kamer was proper. Internetverbinding was niet stabiel op de kamer. Dichtbij Traqaure house: de moeite om te bezichtigen.
