鉄道駅から徒歩１０分位でした。hotels.com経由で普通の値段よりも安く宿泊出来たので、とてもお得です。少し歩けばAldiがありましたが、他のメジャーなスーパーは見かけませんでした。スタッフも感じが良く、朝食もイングリッシュブレックファーストからシリアルやパン・クロワッサン等と種類も豊富にありました。部屋もキレイに保たれてるし、バスタブ付も嬉しかったです。無料wi-fiで、特別なパスワードが必要じゃないのですが、ネット使わなかったらすぐにログアウトするので、毎回いちいちログインするのが面倒でした。またPrestonに行く際には利用したいです。

運河の近くでナローボートが見えた。 市街地でありホテルの駐車場が不足しているが、徒歩5分の所にカーパークがありまったく問題ない。 古い建物だが内装は新しく清潔である。 またホテルに併設のパブがあり昼食、夕食に便利。 従業員の態度、サービスにも満足。

"Close to the water and the lights"
The stay at The Sandalwood was a pleasant surprise, and I am sure to visit again. It was close enough to the Blackpool town centre and a pleasant walk along the water. "Illuminations getaway"
Clean well run B+B close to a range of local amenities and transport links. Hosts very nice, friendly and helpful. Glimpse of the sea and Prom from room. Room very compact with only enough room for one stool and not enough space to pass each other, so spent all time getting dressed etc. with one or the other sitting on the bed waiting for their turn […] to use the floor space available. This is due, it would seem, because room had been converted to an ensuite? Would not have liked to spend more than 2 nights in this room, as nowhere to sit and relax other than the bed. Breakfast excellent quality and ample for even the largest appetite. "A little gem."

"They go the extra mile"
Peter and Margaret could not do too much for us, even to the extent of printing out the Order of play for the Open golf we had come to visit. Good breakfasts were served; local knowledge brought to bear to try to get us a decent meal in Blackpool and they were there to pour us a night cap when we got back. A very welcoming hotel. I had the chance to move into the Hilton Hotel (which is virtually next door) a few days into my stay as the room a friend of mine had booked and paid for wasn't being used... but I chose to remain at Sandlewood.
