２歳と４歳の子供と夫婦で宿泊しました。イギリスは一般的に建物が古いですが、ここも古かったものの部屋は清潔で設備は比較的新しく快適でした。ただ、夜１１時くらいまでは部屋の真下のパブでみんな楽しく飲んでいるので、話し声が床から聞こえてきます。私たちは気になりませんでしたが、気になる人は注意してください。 部屋の下のパブは料理が美味しく、スタッフもお客さんも親切で、私がグラス４つの飲み物をカウンターで注文したところ、隣にいたお客さんが持つのが大変だからと一緒に運んでくれました。個人的に一番大事なのはスタッフの人間性と思っていますが、ここは安心して楽しめます。何か困ったことなどがあったら先ずスタッフに相談してみるといいと思います。 車で行ったので、車以外の交通手段はわかりませんが、少なくとも車で行くのならば周りの観光スポットへは非常にアクセスがいいです。 あと、細かいことですが、部屋にサービスで水のペットボトルが置いてあって飲めたのが嬉しかったです。 最後に、パブのスタッフが宿泊施設の従業員でもあるので、チェックインの時はパブに入って予約をしている旨を伝えると対応してもらえます。

Made to feel very welcome by friendly staff. They made good recommendations on the food which was excellent - a generous portion of homemade steak and kidney pie - just incredible. Found the room to be very spacious and comfortable, large separate bathroom with powerful shower. Some slight signs of wear but only to be expected with constant use. Found all staff to be warm and friendly, and freely willing to engage in conversation or give advice on both the Hotel and surroundings. "Nice country pub"
Stayed for one night on a business trip and chose the hotel as it was close to a colleagues house. It's a nice country pub with a hotel added on, pretty location and very rural. I arrived to find nobody in the hotel reception, after about ten minutes I walked over to the pub where they had all my details....a little sign advising your guests to go to […] the pub would save ten frustrating minutes please. The room was nice and clean, spacious and felt fresh. The bathroom was equally spacious and clean. I didnt eat at the pub.
