Ok... I really dont like to write negative blogs about things and Im not really going to start now. I feel everything has its good points and you really get what you pay for. .... Now, on to the ratings.. I'll make this very easy. The only thing that was great about this place was its LOCATION. LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION. Thats it. The bed was lumpy […] and the room didnt really smell that great. We actually used the bed spread of the spare bed as a throw rug. The carpet just didnt feel right... I love hot steamy showers but that wasn't available here. Water was just luke warm everytime i showered and we stayed there for two days so i think thats just the way it is. Very old school room. Window unit a/c, out dated bathroom tile and fixtures. Not the place to take a woman your trying to impress. Infact, its the opposite. Great for a place to do your business and thats it. Roomnot Clean enough, No small fridge in room, only on tash can in room, Hotel commun areas not clean.

Missing 2 pillowcases on one of the beds. Pool unswimable, dirty.

For the price a good place to lay your head. If your looking for anything other then that or you have kids look elsewhere.

The hotel is a old hotel and the ice machine was broke , but the rate was very good the room clean and the beach a few feet away . Local residents of hotel were too friendly discussing their problems. Didn't make for a happy get away weekend.

...well, the people at the front desk were super friendly and nice, the location was great and within walking distance to everything you need. The room was old, somewhat dirty, and very outdated. Actually, if you bring your own sheets and pillows, not that bad... a lot like camping inside!!! This would be a great motel to buy and renovate in 1950's […] period decor. Hardly beachfront property. Ants infested the kitchen and bedroom that night Beds unbelievably uncomfortable Cut our 2 day stay to one night.

For the price and last minute booking, my friends and I were pleasantly surprised with our room at Trails End Motel. We had a mini kitchen with a mini fridge, microwave, stove, oven, and necessary kitchen utensils. There was a large closet and a small dining table. Bathroom was clean, room was clean. beautiful location right on the beach. Unfortunately hotel needs big renovation project. everything run down and needs modernising. Great potential if work is done. ok for the price we paid.

I recently stayed 2 nights and our room never got cleaned. They didn't have an ice machine and the pool was too cloudy to swim in. The room itself was not that bad, also it had a small kitchenette. We never even got towels even though we went to the front desk and asked for some. Location was good, but there are just too many bad things wrong with this […] place to ever stay there again. After reading the reviews for this hotel, we were pleasantly surprised. It definately has seen better days, but it's like the beach hotels at Daytona, well used and out of date. We had a corner room overlooking the beach, the furnishings were old, we did have a kitchen with a working refrigerator, and we did not see any roaches or rats! I would stay […] there again. NO FRIDGE,NO MICROWAVE,NO CLEAN TOWELS,CURTAINS DIRTY,COFFEE MAKER WITH OUT COFFEE ,SPIDERS ON THE CEILING ,SPIDERS ON THE BEDS, OVERALL NOT GOOD.

We loved the service and desk clerk 's help. Also the room we had and the view from our room. It is an older hotel but we really enjoyed our stay there.

The staff was great, very friendly and helped us find a great place to eat. But the room was gross. I walked in and it smelled like smoke and mold. The bests looked clean but I still slept on a towel. Then there were ants everywhere and the windows did not lock. Thankfully we only stayed one night becasue it was gross.

The hotel was an older hotel but very well kept and it was very clean. I was on the beach even though the walk was about a quarter of a mile walk. We had a wonderful time and the weather was beautiful!!

room was clean. Air conditioner was a little to loud at times, not a bad place for the money.

We used to stay at this hotel 20 years ago...nothing has changed! Only nice thing is the pool area and surrounding grounds...rooms are stuck in the 80's.

The hotel room is very basic. Their is not a blow dryer,or coffee maker. Also bring your own soap and shampoo. Other wise we had a great time. The beach is beautiful. Tara

In over 40 years of travelling this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. It was flithy - mold in the Bathroom, stains in the tub, a loose toilet seat, dirt on the floor, wallpaper peeling off the walls - totally sub-standard. I slept in my clothes on top of the bed covers and got out of there as quickly as I could. Do not stay at this motel. They are dishonest and very arrogant . Room was not clean, nobody around to give out clean towels. Will never stay here again, would not recommend to anybody.
