Desk clerk ignored us while the line grew and she wandered around behind the desk doing who knows what. 6 flights of stairs and elevator was not working. Lights on timer so we came out into a dark hallway and wandered in the dark to find the inoperative levator. Woke up to leaf blowers and loud radios by workers every morning. You decide......!

It was an Island experience. Great views and poor service. After being forced to move ( "the owners were arriving on Saturday") between day 4 and 5 (Saturday) I was locked out of my new unit for more than an hour due to failure of the electric door locks and that happened again on Sunday. I found staying at Bluebeards Castle Villas was an exceptional experience. The pictures do not do justice to the resort for it is amazing. The villa was more spacious than I could ever imagine supplied with new appliances for the kitchen and room. The view was amazing and the location was perfect for our family, for my daughter lives in Mayfolie. The […] best resturants recommended by locals are located at Bluebeards. If you are looking for a spa resort facility this is not for you but if you are looking for a fabuious, cultural resort with all the key facilities at a great price, then you will want to stay here. My family stayed here for a week and we did not want to leave. I will be back. You are close to Pueblos grocery store and Frenchtown.. I suggest if you are staying for a long period of time to rent a Jeep from Dependable. Red Hook was one of our favorite areas... ITB has the best Pizza, Fishtails and Hook and Sinker are geat restuarants - or yes... you will have to walk up a hill... no elevators... how wonderful. Place is nice but transportation is a big must spends a lot in cab service or rent a car as long as you are able to drive on the left side of the road my suggestion is just that

The location is great, we had the room with the view to the bay and it was beautiful! free gym, free wii-fi (not at the room but by the pool), and the hotel looks really nice I am not sure why others said the hotel doesn't look nice in the outside. The room was mint too, it had a kitchen as it's a plus in the VI, the food it's really bad and expensive […] so we used the kitchen a lot. The bad things: 1. there is an energy surcharge that is not mentioned in hotels.com it was like $25 for 5 days 2. they do NOT clean the room. No room service even if you call because it's part of a time-share? it didn't make sense but they did not clean the room for 5 days, we just got clean towels every time we needed them Other than that, very happy with our stay and hotels.com got us a great, great rate, 50% off published rates もっと読む

This was wonderful trip. The hotel staff was GREAT!!

Had a great time, room was clean, villa was everything we wanted and totally unexpected. Hotel staff very courteous. Pool and restaurants excellent quality. Close proximity to stores and waterfront.

We got a great discount for our 3 night stay and I actually feel like we got more than we paid for. Apart from our check in experience (which was hotels.com's fault, not the hotel) and the EXTREMELY SLOW service to help us actually get a room, everyone was helpful and friendly at the resort. We were safe, comfortable, had a clean room, and a great view […] from the front terrace of our room. That is really all we wanted, and with the killer view got more than we expected. The kitchenette could use a few more supplies, and if you intend on cooking i highly reccomend bringing a sponge (they give you a little wash towel but it doesnt clean well) salt, pepper, olive oil or butter, and other minor necessity cooking supplies. Regardless we were able to make due and even made ourselves a fabulous lobster dinner! A rental car is necessary as the island offers a lot of great beaches and you really need the freedom of a rental car. The hotel is in a great location for this... 15 min from airport (with traffic) 20-30 min from the east end, and 20-25 min from Magens bay. We got more than i think we paid for and we would totally go back and stay there again. p.s. dont be freaked out by the cockroach pics on tripadvisor.com our experience was NOTHING of the sort. I was panicking after seeing the pics, but the only bugs we had a problem with were a few mosquitos on our terrace. もっと読む
