In this world customer service should stand for something. This is the closet place to Ohakune that will take a 1 night reservation for just a simple room/dorm. If the businesses in Ohakune don't want my money or yours for one night then we shouldn't reward them by giving them any business at all. Nous avons été prévenus à notre arrivée que la chambre n'a pas de salle de bain et toilettes privatives. L'hôtel en dispose mais à un tarif plus élevé (plus de 100 EUR). La chambre ressemble plus à un dortoir (2x2 lits superposés) où l'on a à peine de la place pour poser les valises (pas de placard, donc il faut suspendre les vêtements sur les lits) […] ; c'est cher pour le prix payé (70 EUR). Les douches et toilettes sont dans le couloir (il faut prendre la douche vers 18-19h, sinon il n'y a plus d'eau chaude après). Les serviettes ne sont pas distribuées automatiquement (il faut les demander auprès du gérant). Malgré le nom du village (National Park Village), il n'y a absolument rien autour pour sortir le soir (même pour faire une promenade) ou pour faire les courses (une station d'essence pas très loin permet d'acheter le strict nécessaire). Passé ces premières surprises, l'hôtel pourrait convenir aux personnes aimant la vie communautaire (cuisine bien équipée pour préparer les repas et les prendre avec les autres voyageurs, salon avec cheminée pour discuter le soir, etc.). Prima gelegen en goede uitvalsbasis ten opzichte van de bezienswaardigheden en activiteiten in Tongariro National Park. Geen PIN-faciliteiten aanwezig in accomodatie en dorp, wees hierop eventueel voorbereid. Gemeenschappelijke keuken voldoende voorzien van kookattributen.
