The employees here were awesome and very very helpful. The room was very clean, big and the jucuzzi was the best part of the bathroom. I would definetly come back. The location is right in the middle of the keys and only a short drive to lots of fun activities.

This is an older place so if you want new keep looking. If you want old Florida this is the place for you. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are old but clean. You can use the motor boats or paddle boats. You have to pay for your gas. The breakfast is good, and cooked to order. It has a very nice beach area. The location is half way down […] the Keys and is very easy for day trips either way. They have different size rooms so check out what meets your needs. It is a very quiet area. I would like to start with the positives as the entire experience was not negative. The room was clean. No mold, etc. Always a relief. The free breakfast was a good portion and the cook was awesome. The breakfast was made to order and not "just a danish". The motorboat was a Boston Whaler and fun to troll around with and the gas was less than $20 for […] 4 hrs. and the gentleman that helped us was warm and friendly. The beach was small but nice. The water did smell a bit at low tide but that was expected for the area. The kitchenette was so useful and the jacuzzi tub was a total pleasant surprise. Unfortunately, upon arrival our room smelled like old smoke and I bought Febreze which helped but the items I brought home smelled like smoke. The parking lot gets huge puddles after the rain. The bed was hard. We were so excited to find a pet friendly hotel on hotels.com. The hotels.com website said 40 kilograms for a dog and when we arrived we found out it was a max of 40lbs. and did not mention breed restrictions. We were charged significantly above the pet fee: US$ 15 per day. They need to update their website. room ok but under restaurant stairs and place was almost empty they probably could have upgraded us a bit. Boats too small for ocean use and beach not for swimming. Low tide is not pretty. no real ambience. Employees friendly and considerate.

Rainbow Bend is an older property, without many improvements to the rooms. Air conditioning was adequate, our room was small (there are larger rooms that are more expensive). The shower was good, except when laundry was being done, then the water pressure and temperature could be startling. Our beds were old and worn and should be replaced. The staff […] is very friendly and made up for the lack of luxury. Their prices are not out of line with other resorts in the area - it really is that expensive in the Keys. They have a beautiful beach and pool area and the boats are included in the room cost. It is a great property for fisherman and sunbathers. Most rooms have balconies or porches, though ours did not. It is a very comfortable area and the location made it easy to find - right on US 1. We always felt safe there, no worries about crime. The Hideaway Cafe really is as good as they say: gourmet food, very good service, though it is expensive. Breakfast is included at the restaurant and is a choice between 5 different options: eggs, pancakes, french toast, bagels, cereal (meat included with most). The Dolphin Research Center is about a mile away from the resort and is worth the visit. Look on their website for $3 off coupons. Das Hotel liegt an einem schönene Ort, jedoch für diese Preis muss man mehr bieten auch das Frühstück,war gut aber zu wenig (3 scheiben speck,2 Eier und 5 kartoffelstücken..... ich glaube Ihnen gehts darum das man zusätzlich etwas bestellt...(Boot 1/4 tank 12 Dollar!!! ich glaube für diesen Preis bekommt mann ein besseres Hotel.
