The price for the room was definitely worth it. Some small cosmetic items (caulking around sink in the bathroom was peeling off and black). Breakfast had some pretty good offerings but no one was there to refill anything so most items had run out by 7:30.

I read a number of poor reviews on this location prior to booking. Nothing which those reviews said were true at all. The hotel was excellent, rooms were great, clean, staff was helpful, hot water worked. Its unfortunate that some guests had issues at one point in time, but don't let that detour you from staying here.

I usually do not write reviews, but in this case I had to. The room was not clean when I had checked it. The bathroom had a dirty towel mat, towels, the counter was not wiped off. Still had toothpaste on the counter from the previous person. The floors are disgusting because the tile is only swept and not mopped. The standards of clean are not up to par in the hotel. The room was quiet, but I recommend to check your sheets and towels to make sure they are not used. Every time I needed front desk it was a 5 min wait after hitting a bell because they are in the back doing something else. I can not believe this is a Ramada and for only being three years old, it is in rough shape. Does not meet the standards of the price they are asking for. I will not be staying here again. To be honest, Walking into the hotel, it was pleasent. The asst manager was at the desk and was friendly. The rooms were great. It is a newly built buiding so the condition was as it should be. However, the issue is that the entire stay at the Ramada Cold Lake which was inclusive from Monday night until the Thursday morning, the hotel had no hot water, […] so showering was not an option. Their solution was offering loonies and walk across the parking lot in flip flops in the dirt drive way with two young chilldren to shower at the Information Center, in which the camp ground was directly behind. A family of two children and two adults one being pregnant this was more then unacceptable and time restricting. The fact we could not shower the entire stay totally discourages me from ever staying at this hotel or recommending this to any of our military friends posted to Cold Lake. Sadly, i would recommend the Best Western down the street just for convience and customer service. Aside from the the asst manager the front staff was not friendly or welcoming. I stayed at the Ramada for 3 nights it was great that they allowed dogs but it was unfortunate to hear that on the long weekend they only had 2 cleaning staff on for the entire day with over 100 rooms to clean. Very clean and well kept. IBased on exterior and lobby condition, it looked like it had just opened but the desk clerk said it had been open well over a year. I could not get a wireless signal in my room though. Signal was very weak. Had to do email in the lobby.

Everything in the room was great the only problem was in the kitchen. The kitchen staff member was there only sometimes and people eating in the room had to wipe the tables off in order to sit and eat and we had to find plates and bowls for ourself. The kitchen staff member spent more time talking to everyone in lobby than in the kitchen

I've stayed at this hotel several times and it's always been good. There isn't much in the way of restaurants right close to this hotel, though, so it may not be ideal if you want somewhere you can just walk to. The hotel itself is very new looking and the rooms are huge.

Ramada Cold Lake is the nicest hotel in town and not overly expensive either. New, crisp look, comfortable rooms and beds, great quality for the money.

Nice, recent new hotel. A bit farther away from the restaurants, approx. 5min. drive. HVAC-system, Heating Ventilation & AC system, is too load. When you turn it down at night it still comes on every 10min. to blow for 30 seconds, this will wake you up. The bed are good and a nice en-suite.
