Hotels.com のゲストによる口コミ 2013年02月20日 投稿シドニー＆ウルルは5つ星ホテル、メルボルンは4.5星のホリデーインにしました。米国に長年住んでいたため後味の悪い対応を予想、白豪主義の残るオーストラリアの対応は予想通り。しかしホリデーインは、そのような嫌みは感じなかった。立地はまずまず、アリーナは徒歩10分、有名デパートも徒歩12分です。市内移動は全てタクシー利用、運賃はメーター通りで文字通りフェアー。でもオーストリアは、全体として後味が悪く2回は行かないでしょう。2013年2月真夏のオーストラリアは暑かった。

Hotels.com のゲストによる口コミ 2013年02月07日 投稿今回はシティからは離れたサウスヤラに宿を探し、このホテルに泊まりました。 ホテルに着いたのは午前11時前。さすがに早すぎるので荷物預けだけでもと思ったのですが、ちゃんと部屋を用意してくれチェックインできました。 部屋は2人用ソファと応接セットのついた十分な広さ。浴室も大きめのバスタブと独立したシャワーブースがあるゆったりした作り。清潔さも申し分なしでした。 朝食はメインの料理をメニューから選び、出来立てを提供してくれます。サイドディッシュはビュッフェから選ぶ仕組み。メインのビッグ･ブレックファストはボリューム満点でした。 シティへ出かけるには鉄道かトラムに乗る必要がありますが、ホテル周辺にもレストランやショップが数多くあります。５つ星ですが、シティから離れている分、料金もリーズナブルで長めの滞在にはもってこいのホテルです。

PROS: Walking distance to city, MCG, Bridge Rd and some nice restaurants. Awesome breakfast (includes hot food). Nice dining area. Ensuite had been redone. Free movies. Quiet for a BnB - not much noise from above or next door. CONS: Room run down. Bed was uncomfortable (room 14). Fridge stank of sour milk. Room was musty. Vines growing through the screen […] so window couldn't fully close, and spiders were living inside window area. Use of laundry is not free (listing did not indicate this). We had a comfortable stay in this hotel. It was quite easy to get to city...tram or train station is just 5 mins walk from the hotel. Amenities like convenience stores or other shops were at walking distance.
