We go to the hotel and were amazed to find that the room's air conditioner was out of order. 28 degree Celsius, so that's over 80 Farenheit and all they said they would do was get us a fan. You couldn't move in the room as you broke out into a sweat. The front desk person was quite apologetic and phoned the owner multiple times on our behalf as we could […] not stay in that room. The owner was adamant that we stay for the 4 nights booked but as I explained to them, if the toilet was not working we would not have to stay in that room, but to no avail, she was adamant that we stay and use the fans. I'm very please with my stay in this hotel. I was already expecting the room to be small and outdated. The only thing I didn't like is that I needed to hold the head shower while showering, very inconvinient. But I will say great customer service and goot hotel location.

small, dirty room. phone didn't work. A/C didn't cool. spoke very little english. 3 foot step-up into tub/shower. shower head broken. suffered through 2 nights of an 8 night reservation.

clean and comfortable on quiet road. basic breakfast good location 10mins walk to the louvre plenty of good bistros nearby (and lots++ of japanese restaurants on doorstep!)

The hotel is old, but clean. The location is great, you can get to the louvre in 10 minutes walking. The elevator didn´t work, and the bathroom was very small... But i totally recommend this hotel.

We had excellent service from the people at reception and it was very handy to the metro, louvre and river front. The only negative was the toilet had no lid and the seat kept coming off and the shower was hard to get in and out of but apparently you haven't visited Paris unless you have a toilet story!!

Good service from friendly helpful staff, hotel is charming and location very good walking distance to Opera house Louvre and lots of restaurants nearby. Need a taxi from the train station but only around 8 euros. Bedspreads did need refreshing but overall good value for money. A pleasant place to rest at the end of a long day.

A small old fashioned hotel with very helpful and pleasant staff. They appreciated my stab at elementary French and were keen to help. They stored our bags on the last day until it was time to go to the airport. The hotel is very quirky. For example; the lift starts at the first floor, is barely large enough for two people and fails to align with any […] floor by at least three inches - but it works. The room was clean if the bed was a bit hard. Right in the middle of the Japanese quarter. Japanese restaurants all along Rue St Anne - makes it noisy well into the night with the window open. Great location for sight seeing - a couple of minutes from Pyramides metro about 10 minutes walk from the Louvre. Transfer from CDG airport is easy - about 45 minutes by train. I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a place close to the centre and just want a place to put your head down for the night. Certainly not the height of comfort and perhaps expensive by UK standards - but Paris is not cheap. The location of the hotel is excellent. It's walking distance to major attractions and also close to metro. The neighborhood itself is interesting to discover on foot. Some rooms are bigger and some are smaller and some have high ceilings. Not much street noise if you have the windows closed. Overall is a good stay for the price.

Bra, men litet rum. Man hörde grannarna när de kom och gick genom de tunna dörrarna. Personalen kunde väldigt begränsad engelska, men de var hjälpsamma ändå.

Спать только с закрытыми окнами. сразу разберитесь с кондиционером - он может и греть, а мы первую ночь мёрзли. Душевая кабинка мелковата, но с водой проблем нет. Hotelli vastasi hyvin ennakko-odotuksia. Huone oli pienehkö ja vanhahtava, mutta erittäin siisti. Yövyimme viisi yötä kahden hengen parisängyllisessä huoneessa kadun puolella. Liikennettä oli myöhäiseen yöhön, mutta meitä se ei häirinnyt, kyseessä on kuitenkin pikkukatu. Henkilökunta oli erittäin ystävällistä, ja puhui verraten hyvin englantia, ja arvosti […] kyllä myös huonoa kouluranskaani. Aamiainen (9 e) oli ranskalaiseen tapaan maitokahvia, tuoremehua, patonkia, croissantia, voita ja hilloja, ja kaikki hyvälaatuisia. Hotellin sijainti on aivan loistava, lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä on Louvre ja Tuileries sekä ihana Palais Royalin puisto. Toiseen suuntaan lähdettäessä Opera sekä suuret tavaratalot. Operan vierestä menee myös lentokenttäbussi. Metroasemia on aivan lähistöllä kolme (Opera, Pyramides ja Louvre-Palais Royal), joten kulkeminen kauemmaksikin on helppoa. Arvostimme myös sitä, että talolla on historia (taitaa tosin lähes kaikilla Pariisin rakennuksilla olla). Kaiken kaikkiaan voin suositella hotellia (kun yleisesti tiedostetaan Pariisin hotellitaso), ja ilman muuta yövyn hotellissa uudestaan seuraavalla kerralla. A recepção e a presteza da equipe foi o ponto alto da estadia. Como ficamos no primeiro andar e de frente para a Rua, não foi fácil dormir, pelo barulho. A localização é muito boa e muito conveniente. Com relação aos arredores, que for um amante da gastronomia japonesa estará no paraiso. A limpeza do quarto estava normal.

Hotel très bien situé, la chambre était assez grande, et propre, avec une salle de bains très fonctionnelle. C'est un vieux bâtiment, donc légèrement bruyant le matin quand le ménage est fait dans les chambres voisines. Mais c'est un excellent rapport qualité-prix.

Hotel Opera Maitenon i Paris: Flott beliggenhet, lite støy, litt små ,men rene og fine rom, svært hyggelig og vennlig betjening. Visst du ikke skal oppholde deg for det meste på hotellrommet, er dette virkelig å anbefale.

Hotellin sijainti on lähellä Louvrea ja muita keskustan nähtävyyksiä. Palvelu hotellissa oli erittäin ystävällistä. Huoneemme oli siisti ja rauhallinen, vaikka se oli kadulle päin ja ensimmäisessä kerroksessa.

Litet och trevligt franskt hotell ca 3 minuters gångavstånd till Louvren. Metro-station runt hörnet som var väldigt smidigt. Rummen väldigt små, men fräscha. Trevlig personal som förstår en del engelska. Kan rekommenderas om man är ute efter ett mindre fint hotell med närhet till Paris innerstad.
