Excellent. Very well situated for all major sites. Easily walkable even in the castle district once arrived by the funicular. Room was spacious. Addition of kitchen area very welcome. Hotel staff professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Rooms very clean, modern and comfortable...loved the location of the hotel, as it was on no car zone street and very close many sites. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet. We highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent choice. Central, modern room and helpful, friendly staff. The only accommodation in the last 10 days of heat wave where the air conditioning worked beautifully.

Upon arriving, I was upgraded free of charge. The room was fantastic, the location was perfect and the staff were extremely friendly. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this hotel to my friends.

We were positively delighted with the Hotel in general,great location,delightful & very helpful staff, extensive choice of breakfast which is included in price...would recommend highly..good value for money... many thanks for a pleasant stay..

A Clean, comfortable, modern hotel conveniently located in central Budapest. The room came with a kitchenette (nice for storing any left-over food from eating out), free high speed internet, hardwood floors, and a flat-screen tv. After arriving at the central train station, it was easy to hop on the subway and reach the hotel in a short amount of time. The hotel is also not far away (about 1.1 miles) from Margitsziget, an island in the nearby Danube River with a 5K running track encircling it. A breakfast buffet was included, although it could be improved as the coffee was of poor quality and the bread tasted stale. The hotel was very clean, facilities good , location good, breakfast good. The staff were very helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend or stay there again.

Really impressed with this hotel. The room was spacious with a little kitchen area, spotlessly clean and the bed was firm and comfortable. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfast spread. Excellent location and allround amazing value. I highly recommend this place.

cons: Room was god but really small and cooooold. Breakfast was a real crap. Sorry, but comparing with over 4-star hotel it is true. pros: But in general hotel is good - very helpful staff at reception, almost in the center of the city, reasonable price - so it is value-for-money (probably very good 3-star hotel)

What a great place to stay. Tucked in a nice little neighborhood and in easy walking distance to a number of great shops and restaurants, the Opera was a wonderful hotel experience. Great breakfast, nice sauna, clean rooms, interesting design, and helpful staff. Very enjoyable stay!

The staff were absolutely superb. In a country where those in the service industry are somewhat austere, this hotel broke the mold. Budapest is very walkable anyway, so location was always going to be fine. It is right next to the Opera House, which means there are plenty of fine-dining experiences very close to the door of the hotel (in fact, we didn't […] eat in the hotel except for breakfast, which itself was what one would expect from a hotel of this calibre). My major criticism would be that the duvet on the double bed was in fact two single duvets laid side by side. I mean, I survived and all, but I had to listen to her complain about the lack of snuggling opportunities. I didn't lose sleep over in it. A lovely hotel in a perfect location - so close to many of the "must-see" places. The rooms had everything that was required and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

This was a really lovely hotel in a very quiet, pedestrianised area. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful at all times. All the major sights were within walking distance and there were many small cafes and restaurants in the area. There was a small supermarket only a block away.

This is a fantastically located hotel with modern facilities. The reception is very helpful and very friendly. The room could not be more comfortable, the free wi-fi was a huge bonus, and the kitchenette was a very nice touch.

Enjoyed our stay in Budapest which was made extra special with our experience at the Opera Garden Hotel.Great location,very clean,rooms were of a good size and the staff was very friendly and helpful.Terrific breakfast as well.

Superbe séjour ... Parti pour un petit week-end en amoureux et aussi pour l anniversaire de mon mari . L hôtel ne l a pas oublié un petit mot et un petit présent étaient dans notre chambre à notre arrivée. Seul petit bémol si on ne parle pas couramment l anglais personne ne parle Français dommage. Merci a tout le personnel de l hôtel

Vi bodde på hotellet med vår son som är 8 månader gammal. Vi valde detta hotellet för att det låg centralt och att de hade pentry och matbord i varje rum. När vi bokade meddelade vi att vi hade en baby, och när vi checkade in fanns redan barnsäng, skötbädd och badbalja på rummet. Där fanns också en lista på vilka ytterliggare saker man kunde låna gratis, […] som matstol, extra filt, leksaker m.m. Frukosten ingick och var riktigt bra. Inoubliable! personnel aux petits soins, vin chaud délicieusement aromatisé, jaccusi et sauna très accueillants et des réceptionnistes tous aussi beaux les uns (unes) que les autres!

Petit hôtel très bien situé derrière l'Opéra. Grande chambre confortable avec cuisinette bien équipée. Séjour très agréable.

Hotellilla hyvä sjainti,pari metroasemaa (eri linjat) lähellä eikä kävelymatkakaan turisialueelle pitkä. Mielenkiintoiset ,vähän erikoiset sisäratkaisut. Palvelualtis ja kielitaitoinen henkilökunta. Vierailusta jäi hyvä maku - hinta-laatuhde kohdallaan.

Gegenüber den vielen positiven Punkten steht nicht viel Negatives. -Das Bad war ansich sehr sauber (und ich habe mich so gefreut endlich mal ein geputztes Bad in einem Hotel zu finden), allerdings hätte man in der Dusche unten an den Rändern schon mal mit einer Bürste putzen können, um auch da wirklich schön sauber zu machen. Trotzdem bin ich Alles […] in Allem sehr zufrieden mit der Sauberkeit des Zimmers und des Hotels im Allgemeinen. -Da wir ein Zimmer auf der Straßenseite hatten mussten wir in der Nacht das Fenster schließen - der Lärm der Leute auf den Straßen war einfach unerträglich. Dadurch war es recht stickig im kleinen Zimmer. Ein Tipp also: Um ein Zimmer gegen Innenhof bitten. Ansonsten ist es sehr ruhig im Hotel. -Das Frühstück hätte unserer Meinung nach etwas abwechslungsreicher sein können (und noch ein Tipp: keine Frankfurter bestellen, die schmecken nicht) Mit allem Anderen waren wir sehr zufrieden: -Freundliche und bemühte Mitarbeiter. -Tolle Kosmetikprodukte im Bad. -Glühwein zur freien Entnahme. -Bequemes Bett. -Dicke Wände, durch die man nicht, wie in vielen anderen Hotels alles durchhört was in anderen Zimmern passiert. -Die Lage ist super, wir haben die öffentlichen Verkehrmittel so gut wie gar nicht gebraucht, weil fast alles in der Nähe ist. -Wenn er gerade frei ist bietet der Whirlpool im Keller eine gute Entspannungsmöglichkeit nach einem Sightseeing Tag. Nahe der Oper gelegen ist das Hotel ein optimaler Ausgangspunkt, um die Stadt zu besichtigen! Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber (sehr sauberes Badezimmer!!) und ausreichend groß. Einzig beim Frühstücksbuffet wünscht man sich vielleicht besseres Brot - die Kuchen sind sehr gut!! Ich würde es wieder buchen!

posizione strategica per visitare tutto il centro di budapest,mezzi di trasporto facilmente raggungibili sia di superficie che metro, nelle immediate vicinanze ci sono tanti ristoranti a buon rapporto qualita' prezzo. consigliato per individuali e famiglie

God standard på værelser og morgenbuffet. God placering og i gå afstand til mange af seværdighederne. Personalet meget venlig og tjenesteivrigt.

Excelentes habitacion e instalaciones, muy buen desayuno, muy buena ubicacion, muy buen precio.
