New Hotel. Nice but needs better recreation facilities on location. Poor effort made by cleaning staff.

A little far from downtown Palm Springs (as stated on the website). I would recommend the hotel for the great price and the great accomodations. The pools were very nice as well. Staff was friendly and exceedingly helpful.

We stayed four nights at the Westin Desert Willow Villas and had a great time. We were really lucky to get a room in Building 1, which was the closest building to the pools, the restaurant, and the front desk. (They have 5 buildings and are currently building more.) If you stay in buildings 3-5, you'd have to walk at least 5-10 min to get to the pools. […] But they do offer shuttle service. The rooms were clean, but a little dark. The living area didn't get much natural light. They constantly offer different activities for adults and kids. Most of them cost money, but it was still nice to have some options for our little ones. Also, it was nice that there were a lot of stores (Wal-Mart, Ralph's, Starbucks, nail salons, etc) within 5-10 min driving distance. We stocked up on groceries on our first day there, so it was nice to make our own breakfast every morning. We even took advantage of the grilling area, but b/c of all the flies, we only grilled once. The game rooms have a fooseball table, a pool table, and an air hockey table. And you can check out a Wii or an Xbox 360 to use in the game rooms. Definitely great for grade school age kids. Although it's not open late, the food at the Agave Grill is pretty good. The happy hour is a great deal from 4-6pm. Had previously stayed in Palm Springs, but this accommodation is worth the extra few miles it takes to get there. Beutifully maintained, the rooms have everything you could wish for, and the staff are prepared to go the extra mile to make sure your stay is memorable.

Everything about the hotel and the comfort of the room was great EXCEPT for the location of the actual room. It was on the ground floor directly across from the elevator shaft/compartment which blocked all natural light in the room. Consequently, we had all the lights on all the time. Very nice but the room felt like a tunnel the way it is situated off covered walkway. The only window to a view was in the bedroom as the window in the livingroom looks onto a covered walkway and a wall.They charge $15 per day to pqrk and you are in the desert!

This resort is beautiful. The grounds are immaculate and the staff is very friendly. The resort seemed family friendly and had seperate pools for families and adults only. The suites were large and provided all the makings for a great weekend.

After spending 12 days in Vegas we needed a place to "catch our breaths" and this was perfect. Golfed every morning and just relaxed all day. Filled the fridge day one and ate in most of the time which was a change from 12 days of restaurants (even bar-b-cued one evening). Took my 2 little kids and they had a blast. Hotel had many fun events, from the Slide to the night time movie by the Pool to the Wii Contest, it was a blast. I will definetely return for a few more days this time... Very relaxing and great service...

The resort is a bit tired and needs a face lift. Staff was generally nice, but the food was sub par. We were told it was the equivalent accomodations and ammenties to the Desert Willow and this was incorrect.

This is a new resort, opened in February and it is a home run. The villas surround 2 huge pools, including a water slide pool. There is a large, comfortable seating area there with misters, and drinks are served poolside from the Agave Grill. Many activities for the whole family are poolside. There are also tennis courts and a surrounding golf course. This […] is a convenient resort to the I-10 and to a shopping center for groceries and eating. It is nearby the wonderful Living Desert and not far from Palm Springs downtown and the elegant El Paseo shopping district. We so enjoyed the desert views and wildlife and the quiet luxury of the resort, we were tempted to just spend the entire time we had at the resort.
